My friends Linda Swartz, Fran Weissler and I had the most wonderful time dining at the Roger Sherman Inn. It was an exquisite dining experience. Our waiter Stephan was so fabulous. Linda and I loved the gazpacho soup followed by the Halibut fish with mango and vegetables. Fran enjoyed the escargot and veal medallions with mashed potatoes and mushrooms. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The restaurant has a certain charm to it and makes you feel at ease. We all agreed we cannot wait to go. Ack and dine there again.

The Roger Sherman Inn provides excellent food in the charming setting of a country inn. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We will be back soon.

The service was friendly, but "spotty"... for example, a second bottle of wine that was ordered never appeared, and, after we had finished eating, we were told that the Manager had taken time to search for it and had just communicated that there was no more left!

Despite the heat and humidity, the porch at Roger Sherman Inn evokes being in Barbados at a 5 star resort. The food continues to impress- every course, every special, every dessert is beautifully prepared and presented. We each have our favorites and are torn between trying new and enjoying familiar dishes. The staff is excellent at what they do- offering quiet guidance should you need it, and helping make those " you can't make a bad choice" decisions. We have enjoyed RSI for years, including the main dining room, bar/lounge ( all adults in our party) and porch. Each is a wonderful spot, depending on the season and mood.
