    Salmon was undercooked and mushy. Bang Bang Shrimp was good bill was $100 we just had a lovely outstanding dinner at Dock's Oyster House and the bill was $110. No comparison. Last year My husband had the PrimeRib witch was very dry - day old it seemed like. We thought we'd try Rock n Chair again, maybe they had a bad night. Nope we won't be back.

    Good, not great. Pricey for what it was. We were rushed throughout the meal. Our order was incorrect and we ended up with an appetizer served after our mains hit the table. Food was pretty good but a little too pricey for the quality overall.

    Excellent food for a restaurant/bar Had dinner again prior to watching my friends band performed two sets in a crowded club although they have glass doors to open wide and let in quite a bit of air or you can drift over to get cooled off if need be. The food was excellent and not unexpectedly a little pricey but again it is the shore and prices are higher. I would not hesitate to recommend the rocking chair for either just dinner or dinner and dancing. Service, either at all right, where is it? I’ll stop it with me all right do you want this? Do you want down? OK don’t start with me today dinner or at the bar, is always excellent, and they work furiously too serve as fast as they can, despite the crowds, particularly on the weekend. I’ve never been there during the week, but it would also be an excellent place and actually one of the best restaurants to go to in Avalon. Weekend or weekday!👍

    The Coconut crusted Halibut had zero coconut but the fish was cooked perfectly, the rice pilaf was bland. Everything else was fantastic. Our server was charming, helpful and timely. My husband's filet was spot on temp wise, potatoes and asparagus and demi-glace outstanding. Will return, will not have the Halibut

    We both got the prix fixe menu and were happy with our meals. A great deal for good food down the shore. Bonus was eating outside on a gorgeous summer day.

    My Mahi Wrap was spicier than I like but waitress brought sour cream which helped. Otherwise, great location and fun atmosphere

    It took about 10 minutes for our server to come to our table. She was terrific and made some recommendations. Our apps took longer than expected, and the server apologized. We were in no rush, so it wasn't an issue. Our salads/soups came out after we finished our apps, and our dinners followed. We had Shrimp Poke Bowl, Pistachio Crusted Salmon, Chicken & broccoli rave, and scallops. The entrees were delicious, and everyone was happy.
