We had the most excellent waitress, Elizabeth. She was very helpful while ordering and cheerful the entire time we were there. We could not ask for better food or service.

I was looking forward to going here when I got to town and it was an utter disaster. Out of beer. Steak was cooked so poorly I couldn’t believe it from a steakhouse! Waiter was borderline argumentative when I showed him the raw steak telling me he will ask the cook if the steak is cooked properly. (Ordered medium rare and I like it rare and had to send it back because it need 5 more minutes to get to rare) Had reservations for the next night and cancelled before the food was returned still undercooked

We walked out after seeing the “bend over” menu and we were the only customers at 6:30! I detest restaurants that gouge the public on Valentines, Mothers Day! I made the reservations one week in advance because there was NO mention of a special Valentines menu. My wife even viewed your web site menu the afternoon of Valentines and it was just your regular menu. Of course we arrive and find out the $75 per person bend over menu was our only choice as the regular menu was not available. We left and went to Outback’s where their regular menu WAS available but there was also a special. After seeing the special we jumped on it! Needless to say we won’t be back to Rip Off Ranch!

Ran out of baked potato, raspberry chipotle sauce was more like ketchup, too red, no chipotle flavor, very sweet and not spicy, not the best ribeye steak either. Basmati rice was great, green beans were perfect, best guacamole and chips.

We had reservation for a large group of 10 and were seated in a room off to the side. How does this restaurant stay open ? The service is beyond awful. The restaurant is so overwhelmed. The poor waiter. Which was only one waiter for the entire restaurant and the bar. He was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. He clearly needs training. But he has worked there for a long time. We had him a year ago He would literally bring one drink at a time for a table of ten. The food took forever to come. By the time we got it. ALL of our food was COLD. When our food was brought to us. We asked if he could get our checks in order. We knew from the service it would take a long time. What a nightmare !!!!It literally took over 1 hour to get the checks correct. Multiple mistakes on top of mistakes. !!!!!! I cannot begin to tell you how frustrating this was. Sorry. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not worth the time. Nor the wait ! Stay away !!!!!!

I believe this is one of Houston's best kept secret for this side of town. This was the first time I bought my family visiting and grandkids, we had a nice quiet breakfast. They all loved it, we will try this place again. Thanks MaryAnn for providing good customer service along with Ricky and the other guys that assist in making this a good experience. Happy New Year! We wish y'all the best.

The steaks were good and cooked to exactly medium and medium rare for the table. Good flavor and good quality steaks. Probably Choice grade. Service was a bit on the slow side for a pretty empty restaurant, thought it was on a slow night. A good place to get a quick, good tasting meal. Ambiance is not bad for what it’s intended to be.

I had the Blackened Gulf Red Snapper with brown butter pico de gallo, jasmine rice, and seasonal vegetables. The Snapper was very good as was the asparagus. The service was excellent.
