    The food is outstanding! However, It took at least a half hour after being seated before we were greeted at our table. It was VERY loud where we were sitting as there were two parties in the same small room that were making way too much noise. It was impossible to carry on a business conversation. That being said, the food made up for the slow service and loud tables.

    When making reservations I would make sure to ask for a table or booth in the main dining area. We were seated in a back room, boxing memorabilia on the wall, that was an echo chamber with a large group of loud people!!! The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Monday eve. Staff was pleasant and somewhat attentive. The steaks were good. Not an ideal dining experience due to the location that we were seated.

    Apart from one year we have come to Ringside since 2016 for our anniversary dinner and every time it has been a success. The wine list is amazing, especially since there are quite a few Barolos to choose from. The steaks never disappoint and this time we also tried two new items on the menu: the octopus and the Brussel sprouts. The wait staff, and Tyler in particular, was attentive and personable and made our dinner a wonderful experience, again. We shall return!

    This level of service and attention to detail is a lost art in this day and age. Best dining experience in all of Portland!

    Portions have decreased, & they no longer serve a veggie with dinner. Our server was not friendly at all, and she packaged up our leftovers for apps and didn’t give them to us upon leaving! Steak was absolutely amazing as always and valet was top notch and super friendly! Overall a good visit but a few things to improve!
