We enjoyed our visit to the Owl. We used to go a lot when we lived closer and it was good to be back. Attentive staff and a friendly welcome. The food was good though slightly lacking in choice for us personally as we don't eat meat. We definitely hope to return and it was great to be able to take our small, well-behaved dog with us, too.

Food at the Owl was exceptional. I will definitely be returning. Staff were polite, helpful and welcoming.

Went early evening on a Wednesday The service was very good without much of a wait, food was hot (a must for me) and delicious.

Very good food, good ambience. Service was very slow (over an hour from ordering to receiving food) despite not being that busy. Staff very friendly.

Had a pleasant lunch on Easter Sunday lots of families. The children were very well behaved and did not spoil our experience. Food is always more than acceptable, but wish the veg was kept separate from the meat. Anna and her team worked tirelessly to keep all happy. Its nice to have a friendly pub on our doorstep and one that has been on the up since Anna arrived.
