Le Restaurant Story London souhaite vous raconter son histoire à travers la nourriture qu'il sert. Ouvert en avril 2013, il a obtenu sa première étoile Michelin en seulement 5 mois après ouverture. Inspirés par la carrière culinaire du chef Tom Vendeurs et l'histoire de la cuisine britannique, les plats représentent une histoire à déguster, imprégnée d'une mémoire. Vous partagerez ces souvenirs à travers vos sens, la vue, l'odorat et le goût. Pour cela, l'établissement sélectionne des produits frais britannique de saison, puis les couple avec une carte exclusive des vins de petits producteurs vinicoles ainsi qu'une sélection de bières artisanales britanniques d'origine locale.

Join us this summer on our newly built terrace situated on the first floor! This space offers a wraparound balcony with a stunning view of The Shard. Terrace tables are available to book from 12 pm to 3 pm and 5.30 pm to 7 pm for one-hour sittings. Enjoy our specially designed cocktails and snacks from our tasting menu. Please note that the full tasting menu is available in the main dining room only We can't wait to spend summer with you this year!

On Friday 2nd August 2024, Restaurant Story will host the next event in their series of Winemaker dinners. This time, featuring a six-course tasting menu paired with Gusbourne's English wines. The evening will be co-hosted by Story's Head Sommelier Jonathan Kleeman and Laura Rhys, Master Sommelier from Gusbourne. Known for their meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality, Gusbourne will showcase their vintage-only bottlings, crafted exclusively from estate-grown, hand-harvested grapes. The evening aims to highlight the innovative possibilities of English wine, offering guests a unique and memorable culinary experience! £195 per person - 6 courses with paired wines and tasting experience, 6:30pm arrival, 7pm start.

Your meal will be a tasting menu composed of classic dishes that make up our story alongside new dishes inspired by the British seasons and the producethat is currently at its best. This will be curated by our front-of-house and chefs depending on what we'd love for you to try but if you have any dietary requirementswe would like to know. For Lunch and Dinner we offer our 10-course tasting menu which can last up to 3 hours. Please note if you are later than 1:30pm at lunch or 8:45pm at dinner the menu will be reduced.

Absolutely outstanding experience! We were celebrating a retirement and anniversary and they went the extra mile with the service to provide a really special evening for our family. The food was obviously amazing and it was a lovely setting (we were upstairs in a private table). Worth the price tag!

Firstly, the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant was overall very good - welcoming and decorative. We had a pleasant greeting from the staff who were extremely friendly. This level of service was maintained throughout the experience, from our table napkins being folded as we ventured to the restroom and the informative descriptions of each dish. It must be noted that every interaction with the staff was outstanding. However, where this dining experience lacked for my family and I was unfortunately the food. To start, each dish was well presented and clearly a lot of techniques had gone into the preparation. Although, for the price that was paid, only 2 out of the 9 dishes really stood out in terms of flavour and texture; this was the mushroom pasta dish, and the strawberry themed dessert. To be completely honest the rest of the food was extremely underwhelming, considering the restaurant has 2 Michelin stars and with that a large price tag. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant, as although the service and atmosphere was great. The food, which in my opinion should be the highlight, simply didn’t pack a punch with flavour, and was disappointing to say the least.

There is a reason this restaurant is rated by Michelin. Exceptional experience from food to wine to service. Service staff were outstanding, fun, and elevated the overall experience.

This is a must eat restaurant. Unbelievable floor staff - in particular a wonderful energetic Australian lady who was great fun and enhanced our experience. Also an Italian gentleman who was knowledgeable and entertaining. The Sommelier was brilliant and we agreed on a Serbian Pinot - what a find. The other two floor staff who helped us were also superb. He had come from Swansea Then the food - Chef Tom Phillips was outstanding - another example of a really top draw Welsh chef. From start to finish - what an experience. Each course was an adventure to take your palate to another level. The Tarragon sauce was out of this world !!!! They have recently opened following a refurbishment and certainly the upstairs was well worth the wait. Overall- expensive - yes BUT you pay for what you get and the experience from start to finish justifies the price and it cannot be recommended highly enough. Thanks to everyone at Story for making this an unforgettable evening. Congratulations to Chef Phillips and the team . Diolch yn fawr iawn

Service was impeccable. The food extraordinary and the right portion size. The staff was very attentive to our needs. I would definitely enjoy this restaurant again!!
