I had a phenomenal time at Redstone American Grill - National Harbor. Great food, nice ambiance, and awesome customer service. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This place was awesome. Our server had a lot of tables but still managed to be very attentive. I had a burger my fiancée had a steak and we both rated our food 10/10. Deff will be back!

Our server Destiny was very professional, patient and knowledgeable of the menu. She gave us lots of recommendations which was great! The food was very good! Loved the cornbread. We had a window seat with view of the harbor, however it was cloudy so weren’t able to enjoy the view totally.

Waiter was outstanding. Food was delicious. Wished the strawberry shortcake wkuld have had a cake texture instead of cookie texture would have made it better

Our reservation was ready right on time and our server was quite charming. I was glad to be seated at a table rather than a booth. Only issue was my friend was on a special diet that excluded rice and grains. She ordered a baked potato to go with her fish in place of the rice but the dish was served over rice so she had to work around that. A baked potato was brought but took several minutes. Other than that everything was great and we had a lovely evening.

We've eaten at this restaurant several times so we have something to base this review off of. When we arrived the host greeted us and the phone rang so he answered and had a whole conversation. A gentleman came in during that time and once the host was finished with his call he acknowledged the guy and the acted as if we were not standing there told the host he had a reservation to which the host asked for his name then looked at me and told the guy he would be with him as soon as he seated us. As the host was escorting us to our table I noticed a waitress leaning over on the bar counter and she ended up being our waitress. She came over introduced herself went through the special and took our drink orders. She came back with our drinks took our appetizer order and that was it. Another waitress brought our appetizers to our table and asked us how was everything. Our waitress walked by didn't check on us or anything. The manager walked by a few times as well, nor did she stop to see how our service was. My husband had to go to the bar to let our waitress know we were ready to order. At that point she took our order and the manager came by asked how things were going and removed our appetizer plates. Usually they bring hot towels to the table before the food comes. Our waitress brought ours after. I could see if the restaurant was busy but it was pretty much empty and that me be due to the service. As we were leaving the waitress was still standing/leaning at the bar talking to the bartender. Not sure if we will be going there anymore.

We thought we’d try a new place, outside of Virginia. We had reservations, didn’t need them, it was quiet. We sat down, 4 of us. Waited for 13 minutes until my wife cleared me to go and complain. We finally got a waiter, he was decent, not out of the ordinary, standard service. We received our appetizers, a hand full of chips with spinach dip. It was ok, but lack of chips was disappointing and we asked for more. Main food came, I had ribs which tasted like they had been made the previous week. They had this stale taste to them. The fries tasted like they hadn’t changed the oil since their last dinner rush. The. The waiter asked if I would pay the tip out in cash so it wouldn’t go into the tip pool. I didn’t mind since no one else did anything as designed when running a tip pool. Don’t waste your time, good food is hard to come by in the DMV when it’s a normal meal and you’re not going out for something higher end. Won’t return.
