Went on an extremely hot day in September. There was no A/C amd no comment about it not working. Food took almost one hour to come out. Food was fine, not great. With the delay in bringing out the food I would have expected the check to reflect some sort of comp, even the $4.25 pastry. Also don't see a need to charge 5% for kitchen and restaurant benefits. That is something the owner should be handling, not the customer. There's an option to have it removed but they know most people won't ask for it to be removed. Overall, disappointing. It's a beautiful restaurant but there needs to be effort made when your customers are inconvenienced by a hot environment and food that took way to long to come out.

Red bird is a very lovely location for brunch. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the waiter we had was very nice. The food itself is average. The pastries served were not warmed. The brunch menu is limited which is fine, and the food items we had were tasty but nothing special. The short rib baked eggs was tasty, but not the best thing I’ve had. Would I come here again? Yes, for the ambience but it would not be my first choice for food. It was my friend’s birthday and they provided us with a sweet dessert.

Everything was great except the bay scallops were really small. Was disappointing since they didn’t look anything like the photo on their website.

Beautiful restaurant with open roof! Food was fantastic and service also! Starting from the valley, security at the door and the host everyone was great. Drinks were fabulous!!!

We really enjoyed the dining room and the open ceiling. The food was great and the service was excellent. We really appreciate that they change items on the menu based on the season. . .

I started with the Lost in Translation – Hibiki harmony, Italicus Rosalio, kobosu, Manzanilla sherry, absinthe - which I finished before my appetizer came. Jaime the sommelier had arrived to put my 2020 Sicilian Zibibbo-Cataratto blend in an ice bucket, so I drank it with the grilled prawns, this time with watermelon, nuoc cham, thai herbs, thai chile, toasted coconut and shallots. Interestingly spicy and a triumph. Then, because the wine is excellent with fish, I ordered the California Sea Bass dressed up for the summer – flageolet beans, market tomatoes (orange cherry tomatoes, in fact), summer squash, basil and dill. Stunning. Castro remembered the wine, and Jaime came over for a glass when I finished my fish. Since he finished the bottle the first time, he didn’t realize I was leaving it for the staff - as I keep saying, this program is a win-win. Dessert? I’m working my way down the list to the olive oil cake - figs, pistachio whip, baklava and rice ice cream – and Castro brought over a glass of Amaro Angeleno. Nice liqueur and a tad underpowered, but a good accompaniment for the cake. Redbird continues to fire on all cylinders.
