Brush up on the pro tips and tricks of grilling with Chef Neal's New Caledonian Prawns with Calabrian chili butter, Prime New York Steak with Chimichurri sauce and Romano Beans with Iberico ham, Pecorino Toscano and hazelnuts. Then, roast some Weiser Farms fingerling potatoes in the pizza oven. Sip on Tobin's favorite bourbon cocktails - the Cardinal Punch and Georgia Julep - as he shows you how to mix them. The series is an homage to Chef Neal's teachers and those who have learned from him. We're honored to host Chef Brandon, formerly of the Redbird family. The chefs have collaborated to create a 3 course family style menu with dishes from Chef Brandon's national bestselling cookbook "Make It Fancy" and dessert by Redbird Pastry Chef Ligia Rossi. A welcome cocktail and mocktail by Bar Director Tobin Shea will accompany passed hors d'oeuvres. Wine Director Chris Dugan offers a non alcoholic wine pairing as well as a traditional pairing. the avocado salad and soft-shell crab were stellar. the pork chop was very good and the California sea bass was very tasty. Too many beans for me. we finished with the ricotta fritters as a PERFECT ending. I do miss the Chawanmushi, which is as good as it gets. my wife always enjoys her Manhattan with Whistlepig 10 yr+ orange peel+no cherry on the rocks and your bartender adds a frosted glass as a nice touch

I called ahead of time to ask about the food for brunch and I was incorrectly informed about the dishes available. It was only available for dinner. I wish that the host would have checked the dish was available not in general but specifically for lunch which is when I booked the reservation with her.

I love the way Redbird does soft shell crab dishes. The Garganelli Carbonara and the Pistachio Cream Puff were both special as well, and the Amaros Montenegro complemented the dessert magnificently.

This was our 4th time dining at Redbird in two months. The menu has changed a bit but delicious nonetheless. Our favorite server is Emily and we request her because of her delightful and cheerful energy. No matter what time of day Emily provides a fresh and energetic presence to make the dining experience that much more wonderful. The food and drinks were on the mark and the service was extremely efficient and detail oriented. This is a perfect atmosphere for fine dining and a date nite for sure. One of my favorites. My date was the most beautiful woman in the city and I honestly had a hard time focusing on the meal but managed not to aspirate or choke. lol. I strongly recommend Redbird to anyone looking for a 5 star quisine and exceptional service. Not sure that there is anything better in the DTLA area.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for years. So glad we did. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. We started off with great drinks (I had the Horse's Head... YUM) and then moved into a dinner that was one of the best we've had in a very long time. Great eclectic menu! Amazing wine list... and did I mention the service was AMAZING!

Excellent atmosphere and excellent food. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a salad on the menu so it’s quite hardy, heavy, rich food. The service was excellent, and the cocktails were excellent. The entire staff was friendly and professional. I only had an issue with the valet who was a total jerk, but that was outside the restaurant so I won’t mention it here (even though I just mentioned it here).
