The only and I mean only compliant is that there was too much bacon and/or pork on things that didn't need it.

We enjoyed but don’t need to go back. The food was good - but nothing special. I personally ordered the lobster roll and it was drenched in mayonnaise. Too much. We ordered the chicken and waffle appetizer- it was very good. My partner ordered the catfish and he said it was very good. I loved the vibe with the live jazz ensemble and of course all the art is spectacular.

My experience with Red Rooster was amazing. They quickly resolved an error/mix-up with my open table reservation. They run 2 brunches at this location. I used a link for the Gospel Brunch downstairs, but when I reached the Open Table app, it made my reservation for the Jazz Brunch upstairs. Open table has to CLEARLY label what you are making a reservation for in the future. Fortunately, the hostess was able to squeeze my party in at the correct event.

So glad we made the trip. The serving sizes are generous and the food is delivered quickly and is really good! I will definitely look to go back the next time I am in NYC.
