Tough steak. Really disappointing. I expected a $50 steak cooked med-rare to have been much better. Bar staff too busy visiting, dining room waitstaff was terrific. Atmosphere was like a K-Bobs. Not near what I anticipated.

Big surprise having known Reata since it was in the tower before the tornado. Very small space. Very crowded and loud on a Friday night. Tamale appetizer made my mom sick immediately that ended the night early. Don't get me wrong, I love Reata, but this appears to need some more thought.

We were seated pretty quickly from a friendly host and greeted with a smile. The ambiance has a very old Texas feel to it. Nice but different. The service was fair. The young gen-z waiter was MIA most of the time and he left food off our order and took zero responsibility for it. Bad move. The steaks and appetizers were just average nothing overwhelming. All in all it was okay but I would not return.

It had been a while since I’d dined at Reata and I chose it to give some friends from out of town a real taste of Fort Worth. I have eaten at all the former locations and this one is nice - even if the space doesn’t have the view that the original tower location had or the unique architecture of the Caravan of Dreams space. It was still warm and welcoming with all the Texas decor. The food was as good as always and our party had quite a variety. My only complaint was that my ribeye was quite chewy. Not quite up to the others I’d enjoyed there in the past. But no complaints from the others who enjoyed the chicken fried steak, the pecan crusted redfish and the special of the night - a beautiful filet with brûléed blue cheese. Desserts were also outstanding. Our server was wonderful and I just wish I remembered her name. She really took great care of us! Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely dinner at Reata. We started with the tenderloin tamales- they were ok and I’m so glad our waiter recommended we try just one for my husband and I. It would have been way too much to have 3 like the full portion. We shared a ribeye- they would split the steak for the two of us (prices per oz) but they wouldn’t cook them differently so I just dealt with rare which is my husband’s preference. The jalapeño cheese grits were very tasty with a good cheddar flavor. They had lots of dessert options and we went with the bread pudding tamale which was delicious.

Steaks were tough, drinks were charged and not brought to table, atmosphere not as good as old location. Prob won’t go here again for the price and lower quality of food.

The restaurant is smaller but very nice. We were greeted graciously. Our waiter was there to take our drink orders quickly. The menu had a lot of variety. A jalapeño margarita was more of a habanero margarita. They took it back and brought a milder but still spicy one. Our only criticism was the chicken fried steak breading didn’t stick to the meat. It lifted off like a blanket. It was good but not what we were used to. The tamale appetizer is so good. They cut them in half so we could share them . We will dine again

First visit since the new opening. Wonderful atmosphere and the staff was great. The food did not disappoint. Celebrating our anniversary and everyone made us feel so special.

Finally tried the new location. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our waiter Andre was really good. The atmosphere is definitely not what it was before. However, the main reason for the low score was the food. We got the chicken fried steak. To say it was not good is an understatement. So disappointed.
