In honor of Latino holiday, Day of the Dead, we invite resort and local guests alike to indulge in the timeless tradition of afternoon tea with a twist in the resort’s oceanview restaurant, RAYA. Delight in tea sandwiches like a taco salad tomato basil tartlet and deviled egg BLT then satisfy your sweet tooth with pastries such as traditional scones and salted caramel flan cream puffs. Excellent experience. Service outstanding and food was creative, beautiful and flavorful. Churros for dessert were disappointing but everything else was good.

Raya is phenomenal, through and through. We chose to celebrate our anniversary here due to its oceanfront setting but the food, service, and overall atmosphere took our dinner to the next level. Protip, make sure to make reservations as the restaurant can get busy. Huge shoutout to Sam and the wait staff for making our experience so enjoyable. The restaurant is inside the Ritz Carlton Laguna which already makes it a luxurious spot. We opted to park across the street in the beach parking lot for $2 for two hours, but I understand there's valet available. As for the food, everything was a 10/10, though I'd probably pass on the Hamachi next time. At its pricepoint, you'd expect a firmer fish but perhaps we just let it sit in the sauce too long. Regardless, the other dishes left us feeling satisfied and filled.

Had a really special evening for our anniversary. The setting is beautiful, the views are exceptional. I requested a window table and had to wait we were accommodated. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable thanks to Dean! He was attentive and professional and very personable, he made our fine dining experience even better.

We had a horrible experience. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table, despite a reservation. We did not get served a bite of food for over 45 minutes after we sat down. We finally had to ask for bread, which someone retrieved from room service. It took over an hour and half before we got our main course. The menu was not impressive and the food was mediocre. I will never eat here again!

My wife and I sent to Raya to celebrate her birthday. We requested on line, an ocean view window seat, which Raya complied with..... Cocktails were very good - but pricey - tamarind margarita and watermelon mule. Single plates of crunchy shrimp blackened fish tocos were excellent. The appetizers of hamachi and seafood cocktail, were uniquely different - but delicious also. Main entrees were the 3 seafood enchiladas (lobster and crab), and the cioppino seafood medley - both also very nicely presented. Our waiter, Dean was extremely attentive and his assistant Ebin (splg) frequently visited our table to make sure all was to our liking. Finally, a manager visited us to wish my wife a very happy birthday (did not get his name), and to thank us for our patronage. Very lovely evening....will go back again for sure.

I recently had a planned birthday dinner at Raya, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Summer was our waitress, and she was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The sunset view was breathtaking, adding to the wonderful ambiance of the evening. The bartenders working that night, September 2nd, were also fantastic, mixing up great drinks with a smile. I want to give a special shoutout to Noe and a few of the other gentlemen who were kind enough to help with pictures, making the night even more memorable. The food was delicious, and overall, the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be recommending Raya to others!

My husband and I went Raya for our anniversary. My husband ordered the wrong dish, Christian allowed he changed new dish and send us desert for free. This was a wonderful dinner to remember. Nice service nice view and good food.
