Please join us for your special day at our magical Rat's restaurant at the Grounds for Sculpture. We are offering a 4-course Thanksgiving Feast for $70. for adults and a kids menu for $15. A credit card is required to hold this reservation. You must cancel 48 hours in advance or you will be charged $25 per person.

Made our fortieth anniversary very special. Food and service were impeccable. Even gave us a special dessert commemorating our day. A great place to go for a special occasion!

Great lunch celebrating a family member’s wedding anniversary. We had the BEST table — inside yet at a window so the best of both worlds! And a gorgeous view of the Monet bridge! I had the halibut. It was PERFECTLY cooked and artistically arranged. We never felt rushed even though it was crowded. Noise level was fine — happy people enjoying a lovely day. Not unpleasant though not “intimate.” And our server was SPECTACULAR. Friendly, funny, warm and genuine. Definitely will return.

We ended up having to book two parties of 2, so there was obviously some confusion when "both" parties showed up, but the hostess and the manager took care of us and got us a great table on the patio next to the lake. It was early afternoon and the day was beautiful, great back drop, great food, good friends created an amazing dining experience. Thank you to the staff for combining our reservations and giving us a great table

The mussels, burger, and french dip were good. The best items on the table were the free bread and butter, and the fizzy mocktails. The interior and garden are charming. The service was not consistent and strong. It took twenty minutes to be given salt that was much needed for the French dip sandwich and French onion soup. Our order was put in wrong not only once but twice. Water was never refilled.

The food was good, but not great. I had requested an outside table, and unfortunately instead we were seated inside and upstairs.

The ambiance here is breathtaking, but I felt the menu for lunch is limited. Our party of three all enjoyed our choices and portion sizes were adequate. Two of us even had take-home. Prices are very high, especially for appetizers, soups, and desserts….a dessert was $19 which is ridiculous! Entree were more reasonably priced and am happy to eat here for the beauty of the restaurant. Service was nothing special. Waiter was difficult to understand and never asked if everything was alright. We had asked for additional bread and had to ask twice. I guess someone forgot! Salad dressing was on the spring mix portion only so I did need additional dressing. Food, all in all, was tasty and enjoyed by all.

First time. Did the Grounds for Sculpture then Rats for dinner. Very relaxing day. Food was excellent. Braised short ribs, halibut and scallop dish all were delicious.
