Animation
May-October we have live music in our outdoor Biergarten Thursday-Saturday nights. It is 21+ area and does allow smoking. November-April we have live music inside in our ballroom and it is all ages unless otherwise specified. There is no smoking inside. Bands range from local cover bands to national rock and country.

I have been going to Rathskeller for many years. Today the food and service was poor. Both me and my friend sent back our Tuna steaks that were overcooked. My steak fries were not hot. They were made in advanced and sat around. My sugar snap peas were not hot. The recook on the tuna was perfect but I was given the same cold sides. They did not order the correct mustard. She offered to bring us some horseradish which she never did. We were given one partially filled soufflé cup of mustard for three pretzels. The server had too many tables so we had to eat without service or very delayed. I never ate my sides. I was also given the wrong type of beer which she ended up taking off the bill. If I had service, I would have asked her to replace it.

The service was amazing! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and like they were excited to see us. We were party of 10 and the server met our needs so easily. The food was magnificent. The background music was calming and not real loud which we commented on how much we appreciated that. The restaurant was so beautiful and interesting. We can’t wait to return.

Great dinner and ambiance at Rathskeller. Our meals were hot and flavorful, and our server was knowledgeable and prompt. The building and restaurant were super cool- we enjoyed sitting in the Vonnegut Room. This was our first visit, and we plan to come back!

Wonderful dinner out on the patio. Great for meeting friends and having a bite to eat and a drink. Outdoor venue with music was great.

Our first time at this famous restaurant as it is the favorite of some friends from out of town. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in general. The drive downtown and back was horrible due to construction and the adjacent parking garage had spaces that were really too narrow.

Fun location to eat with great food and interesting decor. Our server was very friendly and polite. I also liked that the restaurant was very spacious. Definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
