Wedge salad was wilted and not crisp, steak was not cook as ordered, Au gratin potatoes were over cooked. Bread was no better than the last minute rolls you grab at the supermarket for dinner. Grilled asparagus was amazing.

Let me start by saying this is not my first visit. I chose this restaurant because my son’s birthday. All he asked for was a restaurant on the water. We came early and realized that we came based upon Arizona time. So we had to wait, which was fine. 630 reservation and we got in at 6:50 apparently they were running behind. Although we sat at a window seat, it was all the way at the edge therefore, one of us had to look at a wall. That was unfortunate, the restaurant is really not geared for two tables. The food was amazing. However I had a pork chop which I thoroughly enjoyed. Service took a long time for some reason. We waited for 20 minutes for a drink order and then another 20 to 30 minutes for food. Although our reservation was at 6:30, we did not exit the restaurant until almost 9 o’clock. Not my idea of planning so be prepared to wait. Not sure why service was off last night but the last notable issue was I had let them know. I was coming from my son’s birthday. They did absolutely nothing. No happy birthday no piece of cake with a candle no acknowledgment at all. Although they were reminded at the beginning of the reservation. By the time we were done, we said, screw it and left.

Most important is FOOD. This was TERRIBLE. Pasta Primavera sauce tasted like tomato sauce out of a can watered down. Vegetables with pasta tasted like they were soaked for hours. The ooey , gooey butter cake for dessert was anything but. It was not fresh and very dry. We reported these things to more than one waiter and manager. We got an unconcerned, "We'll let the chef know."

My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner here, I had the chicken Madeira and she had the salmon. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. We also shared an order of potatoes au gratin and wedge salad. The servers were good and kept checking on us. A good experience all the way around.

It is with much sorrow that I write this review; as The Range has been a favorite of ours for quite some years. Maybe they were off, I’m not sure? But from the rude attitude of the hostess, to the extended time in service and the quality of the food much below standard our night and meal was horrible from start to finish. And with the hostess unnecessarily was constantly walking around, giving way to a hostile environment. I will not be staying at Harrah anytime soon; as The Range was the main reason for staying. Good luck with your new Ruth Chris attitude.

This is a very nice steak restaurant that harkens back to old Las Vegas. The ambiance is upscale.The service is impeccable and the food is delicious. This is my third visit and will definitely return soon. The prices are moderate and affordable for a special dinner. I have had the same great experience each visit. I think you will enjoy your visit.

The service was great, very attentive staff knew my needs. Lobster bisque had the consistency of pudding and had no taste even after peppering it.

Decent meal but I’d take Outback or Salt Grass over The Range any day of the week. Service was slow food was ok. Honestly I’ll never go here again considering you’re paying twice what you’d pay at the other establishments i mentioned.

Whenever we come to Harrah’s Laughlin, The Range is our go to place for a nice dinner. You can beat the river view, the service and food is always excellent too. Our waiter Otto was great and always there with a smile when we needed him. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and had no complaints. Their lobster bisque has to be the best I’ve ever had…20+ years going there. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
