Donnette Hansen, la propriétaire, prête une attention particulière aux détails qui se manifeste partout, du cadre au style cabane en bois aux terrains paysagers, en passant par les menus changeant selon la saison. Astuce : choisissez le dîner d'affaires de 15 USD pour 3 repas, ou dégustez le délicieux menu au souper, sophistiqués, mais pas trop nourrissants ! Les spécialités au menu incluent du vivaneau au risotto, du filet de bœuf grillé, du homard Thermidor classique, ainsi que du canard Gumbo fumé. Les chefs vétérans préparent du poisson, du sanglier, du canard, de la caille, de l'élan et du bœuf. En outre, le potager de 278 m2 du Lodge regorge de nombreux légumes anciens et des herbes pour accompagner les plats spéciaux.     Very overpriced for the value of what you get in food quality and portion’s. The waiter seemed snubbed to our order which consisted of several shareable, entrees and a few drinks. Once we ordered and got served the waiter never returned for a follow up or refill or to simply check in on our food order. Unfortunately we will not be returning as the price point did not meet quality or service.

    Well lit. Not too dim like many other fine dining. Server was awesome. Food was fantastic.

    When I made the reservation, there was no information that it was a price fix menu at $125 a person. They increased the price of every item on the menu to back into that amount. I compared it to the regular price on the menu And it was a significant increase by 40%. On top of that, the service was much below expected for a $400 meal. I’ve been here before and will not come back. That is a lack of transparency on their upfront advertising. I would’ve much rather spent that money at Pappas steakhouse.

    Our waiter Thomas was very good do not take anything away from him. However, several tables got their food way before us who arrive much later than us. Being that it was Valentine’s everyone had the same 3 course meals and our food arrived at least an hour after our we finished our appetizers. Thomas informed us a manager was coming by to check on us but the manager never showed up leaving me to believe mgmt didn’t care about my experience and if I was happy or not. However Thomas made sure to help where he could and he comped our bottle of wine and bought my wife and I another glass each. The manager could have help get a better rating by at least acting like he/ she cared if we came back or not. Although I did like the food , my wife’s Bison was cold. At this point we didn’t complain but the rating would have been much better if the manager would have at least shown some concern. I won’t be back, there are many high end restaurants in Houston that will gladly appreciate our business.

    Went to dinner to celebrate Valentine's Day. Food was ok but expensive. We felt like we were being rushed to finish our meal the whole time we were there so future parties could be served. The feel of being rushed made the dinner less desirable.

    Rainbow Lodge is a fantastic restaurant characterized by simple elegance, tremendous food quality and variety, and genuine down to earth, friendly service. Our waiter was highly professional, very knowledgeable and made us feel very special. This is a great place for a date night, for a special occasion celebration, or a business lunch. Or just head to the bar for a quick bite. It made our Valentine’s Day very beautiful.

    We enjoyed our Valentine's Day lunch; the food was good, and the server was very friendly. However, the price was steep—over $200. When we got home, we realized we never received our Caesar salads!

    This was our first visit to Rainbow Lodge and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was beautiful and there was even a bride and groom in their wedding attire sitting by the fire. The food was delicious; I had the lobster salad and the short rib grilled cheese. The bread pudding and cappuccino were outstanding. My only complaint is that it was so good that I ate too much and made my stomach hurt. They make their cocktails strong; plan accordingly. I’m looking forward to going back!
