Le Rails Steakhouse est conçu pour mettre les convives à l'aise dans un restaurant où l'art de la cuisine de saison et l'attention au détail sont à l'honneur et célébrés. Le Rails offre une ambiance attrayante et un environnement animé; il propose une cuisine de qualité et une large sélection de vins, le tout servi par un personnel accessible, attentif et compétent. Dans des pièces où les poutres en bois serpentent entres des murs en pierre naturelle, vous pourrez apprécier des pièces de verre et une décoration basée sur les thèmes de l'eau et du feu. Les clients sont invités à se détendre dans des chaises capitaine en cuir et des canapés disposés de façon à inciter à la conversation dans un des trois lounges. Promenez-vous le long de la passerelle et explorez le Rafter Lounge. Descendez au sous-sol et trouvez le passage secret qui mène à la cave à vin, à la salle de sèche-vieillissement des steaks et vous serez agréablement surpris de trouver un bar clandestin, le Thirty 3, qui sert des cocktails savamment conçus et des petites assiettes. Puis, remontez pour reprendre votre souffle et manger à l'extérieur dans le Trackside ou sur la Vista Terrace qui sont dotés de bars en plein air.

Rails offers several private and intimate spaces, the Library and Mosaic room which feature sweeping views of downtown Towaco and are perfect for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and showers and for holding smaller business meetings. For larger events such as cocktail and engagement parties consider the Rails main dining room or Rafters Lounge, with its striking catwalk and expansive, curved bar. In warmer months, the outdoor Vista Terrace is a wonderful location for a reception or a cocktail hour, offering front-row views of the gorgeous surrounding scenery. All of our private dining options feature Rails signature, eco-friendly blend of natural elements and luxurious interior design, and all have widescreen televisions available for presentations.

As always, the food was extraordinary and so were the cocktails. The staff was very attentive and food came fast. Great presentation and wonderful atmosphere.

Lovely experience and a must do in Northern Jersey. Food was incredible - the steak was cooked to perfection and was an incredible cut of meat. The sides all paired well and their wine menu is fabulous. We truly felt like we escaped to another world here. The ambiance is everything you would expect and more!

I had heard about Rails from numerous people who have always raved about it. So, I was very excited in anticipation. The restaurant is beautiful right alongside the Towaco Railroad Station. Plenty of help valet parking but a bit of a walk to get inside. The ambiance is nice with an extensive top notch wine list. But our waitress was not as knowledgeable about the menus that might have been a good opportunity for an upsell for our order. And it was kind of hard to get over that my guest’s lobster tail arrived raw. In sending it back when I asked the waitress about it she said oh! I didn’t talk to them, they’re very busy with it being the holiday. . . Not a very good first impression. Not even an apology. I would go back though. And I understand you can take a tour and go through the secret door to the bar in the cellar. The menu is a la carte which make it seem expensive, but the prices are actually quite reasonable.

I use to love this place but unfortunately on a Wednesday before Valentines perhaps drove our dissatisfaction. Cold Steak, slow service with little followup, and they sat us in a large private room instead of the main dining room (which that wasn’t a big deal). But cold steak not cooked to order - I’m not sure what happened.

My friend and I had a great experience at Rails. I’m a Bourbon girl and I really enjoyed my cocktail, Doctor’s Orders. We ordered T-bone steaks with the Gouda bacon mac n cheese and creamed spinach. Excellent! We topped it off with the bread pudding.. one of the best we’ve ever had! We also have to mention that our waiter, Dylan, was extremely helpful and made it a much more enjoyable meal. We can’t wait to go back.

Went for the 1st time for my wife’s Birthday. Food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing also. I like the fact that they serve the sides family style. Plenty of food for all. Great value! Terrific selection. Will definitely be going back again!
