Very busy place. Glad we made reservations well in advance. got seated within 20 minutes. Food & service were good except for the bussers who were disorganized and either cleared plates while you were still eating or never cleared plates that were long finished from the course, ie appetizer plate wasn't cleared until dessert despite asking twice.

This is our 'go to' restaurant. The food and service are excellent. We also love and appreciate their charitable work donating meals for Long Island's homeless Veterans. Highly recommend Ragazzi.

Our meals were dropped off on our table by someone other than our waiter after about a 40 minute wait with no explanation of why we waited so long. There seemed to be no reason for such a long wait as the restaurant was not full. We weren’t asked if we wanted cheese, fresh pepper, or another drink,. The person who dropped off the food didn’t even say enjoy your meal or a single word to us. Halfway through his dinner my son found a long hair imbedded and wrapped around a piece of shrimp. Our waiter took his plate, came back 10 min later and informed us that they will be comping my son’s meal. I explained to the waiter that an option to order something else would have been preferred over the comping because my son only ate half of his dinner. The waiter then proceeded to tell us that HE FELT comping was better because in HIS opinion most of the meal was eaten before the hair was discovered. My son was still hungry, but now made to feel like he shouldn’t be. The right thing to do would have been to ask us if we wanted the meal comped or if we preferred to order another meal. The waiter should not be deciding how our evening plays out. We didn’t order coffee or desserts because dinner was cut short, and abruptly ended after waiting 40 minutes for or meals! This was a special occasion that became anything but special.

Amazing Gluten Free menu! It's so hard to find an actual menu for GF besides pasta with sauce or hamburger no bun! We had an amazing dinner and took dessert home because we were so full. The owner was present and going around to some tables to see how they were enjoying the evening. I let him know how amazing our Di net was a S appreciate the GF MENU!

I’m such a fan, food is consistently great. Started with seafood salad, delicious!! My wife had the pollo Nonna, she absolutely loved it. She also got the garlic and oil spaghetti. as good as any around. My Bronzino was fantastic, all washed down with a beautiful glass of Baby Amarone makes the dinner complete. But, I still had to have the Panna Cotta and we are a happy couple. Special thanks to our waitress Anna, always a joy. If never been to Ragazzi give it shot, I think you will be pleased. I highly recommend.
