On any other regular day I’d give this restaurant a full four star rating. Only four stars because their bus service to clear dishes is always slow or almost non existent. Last night, 3/11/2025, it was non existent. They put bread plates down and brought us all our salads before our main course. When the main course came the salad dishes were in front of us still. We had to clear them and put them aside. The waitress came over while the plates were being put down and said is everything ok? I said it would be nice if someone came to take these other plates away. She said she would and we handed them to her. Ok not the way it should happen in a restaurant like Rafina but ok. When my brother had ordered his dish that he asked about it because he didn’t see it on the menu. The waitress said well it’s usually a lunch dish but they can make a platter for you. He said ok ty and she did get him what he ordered. But when it came I saw it and it wasn’t right. I didn’t say a word but my brother picked up one of the pieces of meat. It was like a dried out piece of beef jerky. Imagine that? Well he doesn’t complain and didn’t want to wait again because he was starving. It was about 8pm already so he ate it. The waitress never came back to say do you need anything or is everything ok. Nobody came to fill a glass of water. Nothing. Now I’ve eaten in this restaurant three times with different people in the last three weeks and many times before. I always bring people there to sit outside because it’s beautiful. It’s always perfect. So last night, a Tuesday night, was to say the least a terribly off night for sure. The reason I still write this review is because they always have these issues with busing the tables. Never enough help. The waitress, as sweet as she was, was like a little inexperienced kid. I’m hard pressed to bring someone back there as my guests. We will see.

We were told by other customers not to come here on a Sunday because the owner doesn’t work on a Sunday. Sure enough the food was not very good and any special requests that we made were not honored. The wait staff however was very good and the lady who cleared our table couldn’t have been nicer. Just some problems with the kitchen and getting it done. Food is great here just not on a Sunday!

Sophia greeted us warm and charming she was attentive met all of our needs But food was disappointing compared to another Greek restaurant I had Mousakka and my husband had Pastisio both were bland tasting Ordered The Greek Custard was good Cost quit fair Unsure if we will return

Always enjoy the food at Rafina. Enjoy sitting outside, great value. Service is spotty but the food makes up for it.

The lamb chops were perfect, The ambiance subline. Excellent wait staff. We had a very enjoyable evening as usual.

The food was wonderful as was the service. Our group had the fried calamari and it was delicious. Entrees were lamb chops - wonderful, scallops - tasty and cooked to perfection, salmon - very tasty and shrimp with orzo - again tasty!
