RA North Scottsdale didn't quite live up to the prices or reputation. Sunday night, restaurant was probably 35% full. Waitress informed us food might take a little longer because they were short staffed in the kitchen. Ok, no big deal, thanks for telling us. The longer wait times for us meant dirty dishes on the table, 2nd drink round delivered and not taking dirty first round glasses. We waited about 30 minutes for an additional 2 orders of unagi nigiri. Asked for the manager to discuss the poor waitress attention and excessive wait time for 4 pieces of sushi. His reaction was surprising. Explaining how short they are back in the kitchen, he’s also cooking. I started to look around at the mostly empty restaurant, and wanted to clarify our main issues were with the waitress and we’d be tipping less than 15%. My wife said he doesn’t care, I noticed he actually didn’t. I told him he wasn’t even listening to me, she’s right, you don’t care. He actually stormed off. Saying something like: fine, you don’t want to tell me… He then told the waitress “CASH THEM OUT, MAKE SURE THEY DON’T COME BACK!”. The waitress was extremely shocked and apologized. We explained to her how her lack of attention to our table, especially given the long wait time created a poor experience. My wife and I texted the general manager the next day. No response as of yet…

I really enjoyed the bowl of fried rice and steak, and along with the skewers, but I thought the amount would be a little more. It was decent for the price and also got the dragon sushi which was amazing. Will be returning

Went for a birthday dinner and on a Wednesday night it is a less busy, which is a good thing. The server was amazing and attentive from the time we sat down. The food came out in about 15 minutes. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and of course tasty. If you come for a birthday you just might get a dessert for FREE.

Our whole family love the ramen and all. We even brought out of State guests several occasions in the past. Last night, i was starving but noticed the soup was bland, the noodles were overcooked but i just brushed it off. Until my wife and daughter commented. The manager took off $24 of our bill to comp but it makes me think of going back in the future.

Lunch menu deals at RA Sushi are good value. We each had bento boxes. The only reason I did not rate the food a “5” was because the miso soup was not hot enough (temperature). Our server Shailey was excellent!

Forgettable. Sited for happy hour. Price was good. Had two rolls, edamame, some spring rolls and two drinks - $70. Service was mediocre at best. If anyone has to ask for a refill on water, it’s not worth it. We didn’t get two minutes with the menu when we were asked if we were ready to order. Not more than three minutes later we were asked again. A drink order could have been taken first, then give us time to review the menu. Food was okay. All together, the visit was forgettable.
