This was probably the worst dining experience I have ever had! The hostess seemed annoyed that she had to seat us. When we got to the table, a chair was missing for one of us. We asked for a chair and waited for 15 minutes before grabbing one ourselves. Our waitress was very sweet, but you could tell she was new. We placed our order and she repeated it back to us. The first plate took 45 minutes to arrive. The rest came out every 30 minutes. We couldn’t even enjoy our meal together! It took over an hour to get our drinks. My order didn’t arrive at all because the waitress forgot to put in the order. Another 30 minutes went by and, when it finally arrived, it was terrible! I’ve never had worse sushi in my life! Grocery store sushi is so much better. After spending well over $100 per couple, we left starving and extremely disappointed. I strongly advise everyone to STAY AWAY!

We have been to Ra Sushi several times it’s been awhile but we still love the food but the service has really went down, and they need to do a better job with cleaning the floors, finished tables and the bathroom smells disgusting! We won’t be back unfortunately!

Waitress, drinks and food were great. This place needs a thorough cleaning; steam clean the floors and carpet.

Our server, Steven, was phenomenal! He was so attentive and honest in his reviews and suggestions. He was personable and funny and witty and made the dining experience so much more special. The food and presentation was amazing and the garlic edamame was so good, we ordered two!

So we have been going here for years. The last two experiences were awful. This last experience was the worst though. Mother’s Day dinner for my wife and the kitchen completely ruined it for her. 2 hours to get our 4 items. One roll came out fast then nothing for over an hour! People who sat well after us had eaten and left before we were even served. Was told they lost the ticket ha! Then why did one item come out? Then we ordered desert like fools and you would think maybe since they messed up so bad they would try to do this well. Nope messed that up completely as well. We will not be returning to Ra anymore. It’s unfortunate as this was a favorite date night place for my wife and I for years. Not any more!

Very poor experience overall in this restaurant. When we were "greeted" at the door there was absolutely no dialogue with the girl. Told her we had a table booked she grabbed a couple of menus then just started walking to the table. Put the menus on the table then walked away. The girl that actually served us was very nice and pleasant. The whole place felt very cold and had no ambience to it. The food was very poor in total honesty. The sushi is clearly not made to order. It came straight from a fridge as the plate was freezing cold and the sushi looked as if it had been prepared hours ago. The main dishes we ordered were bland, and overcooked. We ordered a chicken katsu which was very bizzare it never came with a sauce which would have maybe made it a tad better. The chicken itself was very bland. It came with a mound of coleslaw and mound of overcooked stodgy rice. The other dish we ordered was a noodle dish with steak. I say steak it was more like leather, it had been cooked that long you could have resoled a pair of shoes with them. The noodles were delicious though! Very tasty and the highlight of the whole meal. We let the girl that was serving us no the steak was un-edable. She took this off the cheque after consulting with the manager. On a whole, I had a bad experience and wouldn't recommend to any friends or family who are going to be visiting after we have just relocated here.
