Let me tell you about this restaurant we chose to go to for our anniversary. Our first impression when we walked in was that this was a total hole in the wall. The floors were disgusting, rat traps everywhere, feet sticking to the floor. The lighting was low and kept flickering down to barely any light. We got seated and were helped right away. There weren’t many people in there (Maybe 4 tables). The small plates on table had food and sauces all over them. I ordered the New York strip with JUMBO shrimp hibachi. It was supposed to come with veggies and fried rice. I got my food served to me with a bag of plastic cutlery and salt and pepper paper packet. I asked if they had actual silverware since I had a steak and the server stated they had no dish washer and she didn’t want me to get sick using them (this explained the plates on the table). The jumbo shrimp were normal size, the fried rice tasted awful so I didn’t eat it, and the portions of the veggies were thin sliced barely any. My husband ordered sushi and he was happy with what he received. We will never come back to this place again. I think it would be more sanitary to eat from a food truck or street vendor then here. When you pay $42 for an entree, you shouldn’t be serving plastic ware out of a bag.

The hostess and server were cool. My rolls were falling apart....the black pepper wings had too much sauce on them. I was disappointed on the poor quality of food compared to the price and recent ratings.

This was probably the worst dining experience I have ever had! The hostess seemed annoyed that she had to seat us. When we got to the table, a chair was missing for one of us. We asked for a chair and waited for 15 minutes before grabbing one ourselves. Our waitress was very sweet, but you could tell she was new. We placed our order and she repeated it back to us. The first plate took 45 minutes to arrive. The rest came out every 30 minutes. We couldn’t even enjoy our meal together! It took over an hour to get our drinks. My order didn’t arrive at all because the waitress forgot to put in the order. Another 30 minutes went by and, when it finally arrived, it was terrible! I’ve never had worse sushi in my life! Grocery store sushi is so much better. After spending well over $100 per couple, we left starving and extremely disappointed. I strongly advise everyone to STAY AWAY!

We have been to Ra Sushi several times it’s been awhile but we still love the food but the service has really went down, and they need to do a better job with cleaning the floors, finished tables and the bathroom smells disgusting! We won’t be back unfortunately!

Waitress, drinks and food were great. This place needs a thorough cleaning; steam clean the floors and carpet.

Our server, Steven, was phenomenal! He was so attentive and honest in his reviews and suggestions. He was personable and funny and witty and made the dining experience so much more special. The food and presentation was amazing and the garlic edamame was so good, we ordered two!

So we have been going here for years. The last two experiences were awful. This last experience was the worst though. Mother’s Day dinner for my wife and the kitchen completely ruined it for her. 2 hours to get our 4 items. One roll came out fast then nothing for over an hour! People who sat well after us had eaten and left before we were even served. Was told they lost the ticket ha! Then why did one item come out? Then we ordered desert like fools and you would think maybe since they messed up so bad they would try to do this well. Nope messed that up completely as well. We will not be returning to Ra anymore. It’s unfortunate as this was a favorite date night place for my wife and I for years. Not any more!
