We’re a Modern Japanese restaurant located in Surry Hills. We pride ourselves on serving the best Japanese cuisine in Sydney, prepared by our expert chefs using the freshest local and sustainable ingredients where possible. Our signature rolls are a must!
We’re your fun neighbourhood Japanese restaurant located on Crown Street in the heart of bustling Surry Hills, Sydney. At Zushi we love our customers and our customers love our relaxed approach, coupled with delicious food, friendly service and dining options in our buzzy restaurant, upstairs mezzanine and open air courtyard. We offer dine in, takeaway, catering and mobile zushi where we send our Chefs to you!
Zushi is fully licensed and offers an exciting list of cocktails for those who have worked up a thirst. We also love sharing our passion for sake, beer and wines to match your meal.

Great service from once we arrived! Team so polite and the young lady that was looking after us was great and was always near by for any questions. Honestly my favorite location and a my go to place for friends / family get together. Thank you Team Zushi - Surry Hills

A great place in Surry Hills for a casual Japanese dinner! We sat outside this time, was impressed with this area and would recommend if the weather is suitable. Attentive & courteous staff.

I love this place and it just gets better and better! The happy hour Friday, Saturday & Sunday at Surry hills is fabulous don’t miss it.

Location is hard to get to (walking uphill from Central station) but it was worth it. Nice selection of cocktails with originalities and the ambience had class. Would be great for a corporate dinner or a date night (bars located nearby).

We went on a Friday night, a group of 6. We chose our own courses, everything was amazing. The Chiefs selection sashimi was done of the best any of us had eaten. The cocktails and wines were fabulous. Even in a very busy restaurant the staff were incredibly attentive and the meals arrived at a nice pace. We will be back and highly recommend you visit.
