At the edge of the CBD, in the spectacular 22-hectare waterfront precinct where an old container terminal once stood, discerning foodies can now find some of the city’s best sushi in Barangaroo. Established in 2016, the newest addition to the Zushi restaurant empire is in Sydney’s impressive new harbour foreshore playground. Zushi Barangaroo is both stylish and comfortable, capturing the relaxed style of a typical Japanese bar or izakaya designed by the renowned architect Koichi Takada. We offer premium service complimented with a wide selection of imported beers, Japanese inspired cocktails, and Japanese sake and whisky.
Zushi prides itself on using only carefully sourced local ingredients; the freshest vegetables and sustainable seafood where possible and most of the menu is gluten-free. We are open every day for lunch and dinner, serving delectable sushi, sashimi and share plates. And the glorious harbour views are pretty tasty too.

The view was beautiful by the water but sushi was just ok. Cocktails were way too sweet so I definitely wouldn’t recommend them.

Set menu was a flop. Steak was charged at $11 extra per head but was inedible. So tough and chewy. The sashimi tasted off. The only good dish was the prawns. Was a terrible experience. Has it changed owners?

Dinner was split 4 ways and we were pleasantly surprised it was only $44.50 per person considering we ate a lot. Value is definitely there for fresh and delicious food in Barangaroo.

This is the third time I have been to Zushi and as always the food is extremely tasty, the service is prompt and attentive and the atmosphere is good too. Can’t fault it. It is one of our favourite restaurants at Barangaroo

Very good. Had a 8 o’clock booking, felt a little rushed at the end because the shop closes at 9. Other than that it was great.

The meals were amazing and the service great :) We were celebrating a birthday. We weren’t going to order desserts but glad we did. They were delicious.
