Nice ambience for a date and quiet enough to have conversation easily. Food was ok. I enjoyed the edamame, maki rolls, and really loved the pecan dessert. The miso cod, which is what I was most excited for, tasted very fishy to the point it was difficult to eat (we couldn’t even finish it). Made me a bit sick to my stomach. Service was top notch and very fast (in a good way), though.

Truly a spectacular meal and experience. This is the third time to this restaurant and the food and service has been consistent.

For the first time, the food wasn’t amazing. There was a chicken dish that just wasn’t too our taste, way over sauced. They also forgot to deliver one of our dishes, the vegetable, until after where we were already done. But being the class act that they are, we were comped that before I even said anything.

Zuma is a great place with a cool vibe. We have been several times. Usually, the experience is outstanding. This time the maitre’d was super snooty and even though we had a reservation, she held waiting for 10 minutes so she could chat with her friend. Once they were done with their social chit chat, she seated us. Our waiter and the rest of the experience with the food was excellent as usual. It just goes to show that just one person can destroy the customer experience.
