    Service was terrible. Food was sub par. This was our 4th time spending Christmas Eve dinner here. Sadly probably our last.

    Food options were super limited for the price per person. The value in my opinion didn’t match what was offered. Buffets have definitely gone down hill.

    Thanksgiving Buffet was very disappointing. Very expensive for below average food. Soup, potatoes, gravy, and many other items were luke warm. Deserts were below average. Pumpkin pie was small silver size medallions. Manager said they were running out so they had to do that to ration it. Will not be repeating g this experience.

    Thanksgiving buffet let down.. Overpriced meal and no service was not a meal to be Thankful for.

    Was not what we expected for $250 for the two of us. Had to wait 45 minutes to be seated when our reservation was at 4:30. Food was cold (yams, potatoes, beets, corn). We were there 2 hours and neither of the soups offered were available. Both were empty the entire time. Waited 10 minutes for plates. No gravy for mashed potatoes. Overall food quality was just very poor. We have eaten there several times and loved it, but not this Thanksgiving buffet. It was horrible and very disappointing. Very overpriced at $95 per person for what you got. Will not do this again and do not recommend.

    We wouldn't recommend this experience. The resort and area are beautiful. But the dinner was sad. We felt like we were eating scraps and many of the dishes ran out before we got there. It was really sad.

    We thought we would try out the Thanksgiving buffet, as it sounded fantastic, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. All the dishes were empty for over 20 minutes, a server never came (but forced to pay a tip), we even had to wait for a plate, finally about a half hour into the meal, they filled up the seafood. The desserts had ran out, but there was some old shortbread cookies. For $100 per person? We won’t be back.

    We were very disappointed with our experience. The restaurant ran out of turkey and mashed potatoes. What is a Thanksgiving Dinner without turkey and mashed potatoes? We waited for 45 minutes for more food to be brought out. The buffet table was not refilled. We finally just left. We will not be returning to the Zermatt.

    We booked this restaurant for the Thanksgiving brunch. The check-in process was chaotic and the staff seemed a bit confused about the rush of customers even though they should have known it was a holiday and the number of people to expect because it was by reservation only. We checked in on time and then waited 20 minutes to be seated even though we could see plenty of tables cleaned and set for the next guest seating. We were taken to a booth which was very nice. The tablecloths at all of the tables and booths were so long and cumbersome you could not get your legs under the table and had to fight with the table cloth to get in and out of your seat to go to the buffet. The buffet was "okay." The variety of items was adequate with the big draw being shrimp and filleted crab legs. The beef was tough and overcooked and the turkey was a turkey roll not a real turkey breast. The food was okay, but not replenished very often or the buffet area kept clean and tidy. Often hot things were not hot and cold things were not cold. Again, the staff seemed unprepared for the event. Probably the thing that caught most customers off guard was the fact that non-alcoholic drinks were not included in the $95./per person price. Many guests around us as they received their bill were surprised at the extra charge for a soft drink, coffee/tea, etc. We had asked in advance if drinks were included and our server was a bit embarrassed to say "No, your drinks are not included." Also, there was an automatic gratuity of 20% added to the bill, even though it was a serve yourself buffet. Z's is suppose to be an upscale resort and preferred destination, but the management still needs to refine the quality of food and service.
