Zou Zou’s is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants throughout New York City, including The NoMad. The menu is inspired by and celebrating the cuisine and flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean region, bringing in influences from Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, among others.

Zou Zou’s is located within the Manhattan West Plaza, on the ground level of Pendry Manhattan West. If arriving at 33rd Street (between 9th & 10th), follow the walkway to the plaza, turn left, and find the Zou Zou’s entrance on your left.

If arriving at the Ninth Avenue entrance (at 32nd Street), walk through the plaza towards Whole Foods – Zou Zou’s will be on the right side of the plaza just past the NHL Experience Store.

Bustling on a Wednesday evening, this place was lively, friendly, efficient and delicious. Tasting menu for 2 could have fed 4 easily and it was all very affordable. Great service, decent wine list too. We will be back!

Loved our meal - our kind waitress helped us have a little bit of everything (all favorites) and not overdo it which we appreciated. The dips with a cocktail and veggies was such a good way to start. We were well paced with a friendly caring vibe. Food and breads were excellent - finished off with the frozen yogurt - yum! 💜

All of the food was amazing as usual. Just a little annoyed we ordered 7 dishes that all came out at the same time. Clearly not our fault and they wouldn’t let us put them on a second table even though no one was sitting there the whole time we were dining. Other than that the food and service was amazing as usual.

First time here and it a business dinner after a conference. The food was excellent- particularly the branzino and the filet mignon shish kabob. The service by the gentleman with the beard and accent was very good but our main server was not focused and seemed to have an issue remembering what we had asked for. It also took her a while to first come to us which is likely why the nice gentleman with the beard and accent came by. The noise level was very loud and was difficult to have a converstation. I was planning on making a reservation for another business dinner but the noise was too loud.

Food came out all at once in 10 minutes even after asking them to delay. Weird service and no checking in on table. Unorganized and received 2 incorrect dishes to table. Horrible experience.

Good value for the amount of food but service is bad and the volume of food doesn’t align with the vibe. Tables are too close….literally our neighbors had to put food on the floor and give out to nearby tables because there was no room. We had to wait 20 minutes to put our drink order in and it was almost an hour before we had any food. Given the volume in here is as loud as it gets - really hard to carry on a conversation, I had to ask for my check right after our entrees came. Food was mostly above average but you should be aware of what you are walking into. If you like communal dining with waiters talking over your shoulder and servers throwing food at you because they can’t reach the table this might be your spot.
