Please note that Zoe's is closed for renovations until further notice, Afternoon Tea will now be served on the Mezzanine Level of the Chateau Laurier Enjoy our famous Afternoon Tea service at "La Mezzanine" every day of the week from 11:00 am until 3:30 pm. The spring menu features 6 savory sandwiches and 4 desserts. $73 per adult, $36 per child (not including taxes and gratuity). We are able to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions (please mention under Guest requests). Please note we do not offer self-parking at the hotel, we do recommend parking at City Hall or Rideau Mall. All reservations are subject to a 2 hours seating time. Seating preferences are reviewed based on requested date and availability.

Calamari were hard as brick, over cooked burn: could not eat them. Lamb rack were very tender but very cold. A guest has chosen a salad as an entree and as a main dish the vegetarian plate that contained also a salad. The waiter did not tell her the two choices were both including salad. Why not? Overpriced for the quality of food and level of service. We were very disappointed. Nice view but that’s all. Will never recommend or go back.

Our server was beyond amazing, and made the 6 year old in our party very happy and welcomed. The food was also prefect.

My dad visited from the UK and I booked the Afternoon Tea as a treat. We both loved the experience. Everything about it was wonderful. From the food, to the service, to the ambience. It was perfect. Our waitress was a treasure - so friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Josée was incredible. She was attentive and caring. We had lost my father days ago and were there to celebrate my birthday and daughter’s honour roll in school. She took great care of us all and made so many special things happen to make us smile

Not very impressive to me. Food are just so so. The place where we seated has no views at all. Feels like an isolated part. Takes so long for the waitress to first visit us. Don’t think this afternoon tea worth the price. Won’t really recommend.

As Zoe’s is under construction, we dined in the corridor area upstairs. Not as aesthetically pleasing but the food and service was still great! The sandwiches and bites were delicious.

I had afternoon tea with my young daughters while we stayed at Chateau Laurier, and it was the most wonderful experience. Nicole and Jojo go above and beyond to provide the best service. My daughters and I have continually talked about them and the tea. The memories created here will last a lifetime. We hope to be back again! It was my daughters 10th birthday and the staff made her feel so special! Her name is Zoe so she was given many remarks along the lines of, 'Welcome home!', and 'This is your castle today!' and the smile on her face was priceless - my sincerest gratitude <3
