Friendly enough service but a couple of mistakes made by the waitress with meal requests which, bearing in mind there were only two of us, was poor. You would have thought it was the waitress's first service but apparently she's been there for ages! Mistakes were remedied to our satisfaction. OpenTable voucher worked perfectly!

Disinterested staff. Very slow service. Food ok. So disappointed. Had a similarly bad experience a few weeks ago. Not busy. Would have spent more money and time there if anyone had bothered to notice us. Need to up their game here. Used to be such a lovely restaurant.

Zizzi is generally good. We've been to several around London, however this experience was the worst of any restaurants I have ever encountered. Needless to say, a Mother's Day booking would be busy, and being reasonable we expect food to take a little longer. Zizzi Surbiton wasn't prepared for just how busy it would be, or their staff and team were not well trained enough to understand how to deliver good customer service when many tables are waiting for food. When we started to ask the waiter on what was happening, we didn't get much response back apart from they are trying their best. The food was served 1hr 20mins after we sat down. We were not offered any complimentary snacks or drinks, we were just told to wait. We ended up eating some of the mothers day chocolates that was a gift to my mother, because we were hungry! We asked to speak to the manager, since the waiter couldn't make decisions, and the manager never showed up to speak to us. When the food came, it was the poorest quality food I have ever had at a Zizzi. I'm afraid to say, the overall experience was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. Not to be repeated.

Booking for 3 pm on Mother’s Day was told to wait for a table to become free was waiting until 4.30pm for food the arrive a further hour later cold the waiter dropped a drinks tray over 6month old son to think Zizzi’s was my favourite restaurant at 1 point what an absolute shambles never again

Let down by poor service. Monday night and not massively busy but an inept waiter spoilt it. The manager realised and offered us comp deserts or a glass of prosecco which was decent. It won’t stop us going back.
