Zitz Sum is a 30 seat seasonal restaurant located inside of an historic building in Coral Gables, Florida. Our story, is a story of resilience, passion & commitment, that is translated in a plate of food, excellent service and unapologetic gracious hospitality. Our current menu is an autobiographical journey reflecting Chef’s experiences and our affinity for Japanese ingredients and technique.

We currently offer A la carte menu that changes with the seasons, and a Seven Course Tasting Menu that changes weekly. Our tasting menu consists of playful snacks and bites to get the night going, and an array of our signature and favorite current dishes. Part of the tasting menu is presented in a family style format conducive for sharing and celebrating.

Zitz Sum is recipient of a 2022, 2023 & 2024 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Award, a 2022 James Beard Foundation Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant and a New York Times 2022 Best 50 Restaurants in America.

One of the best “fusion cuisine” meals I have experienced. A really focused and dedicated culinary approach to blending ingredients which work perfectly and create something new and exceptional.

First time here and we both loved it ! Thank you so much ! Every thing was great! We got 3 apps and 2 main dishes ! Service was outstanding thank you very friendly staff ! , only wish we lived closer we would go more often !!! We will be back soon tho see ya soon !

The tasting menu was superb! Each course was better than the previous one! At first glance the portions appear small however they are perfect! We left very pleased! The service was excellent the staff worked as a team and our courses came out seamlessly-

Excellent service and delicious food, the restaurant is a great addition to the Coral Gables culinary lineup. However the portions are very small which makes it necessary to double-up when ordering certain items.
