Zitto Zitto Taverna is located in the heart of Toronto’s popular and historic neighbourhood- Little Italy. Upon entering our family owned Taverna, you and your guests will be met by our warm, friendly and fun staff of professionals that will put you at ease and make you feel right at home. Wether you are at the Bar, with its list of Classic Cocktails or in one of our two unique dining rooms, the focus is on providing you with memorable experience, not soon to be forgotten. Accompanied by a fine selection of old and new world wines, Chef Alessandro Militello brings his Sicilian flair to our grill focused menu of fine Italian cuisine that will satisfy a variety of pallets and diets.
Make no mistake, owners Anita and Alan's hands on approach will assure all of their guests feel welcome and appreciated.
Remember, last reservations for dining may be at 10 PM, but the vibes go on in the Bar!

Service was amazing! Everyone was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Food was pretty good. My favorite were the olives, and mixed mushrooms in cream sauce. Delicious ! Drinks were also great!

Oh my gosh, the server was amazing! Funny, engaging and never stressed about the number of tables he had. Knew his stuff, knew what to recommend. Food was fabulous. Portions were larger than I expected. A comment the bread and olives: if you are an Italian or Greek - you will be happy. They know their olives! We ordered the octopus, burrata salad with beets, yummy. We ordered mains- shared a steak and it came with amazing potatoes. Wine was great. I would go again We sat outside and by about 8pm, it was full and people were really enjoying themselves. I think this had a lot to do with the server as he encouraged interaction and enjoyment.

Sat on the outside patio, nicely spaced, quieter. Great service, friendly atmosphere. You could tell there were many regulars. Food was well prepared and well presented. The only interesting thing was no published wine list. The servers were very knowledgable about their wine stock,but I would prefer browsing the options myself.

Was hoping for a better experience. Service was slow and kitchen not any quicker. Food was over seasoned. Interior was upscale however noisy. Thx

We had a wonderful experience! Our server was phenomenal and entertaining. The drinks were good! The food was also very good. I recommend the seafood risotto; it was a favourite! I do not recommend the spicy spaghetti, it tasted like Franks Red Hot sauce which was strange. We sat on the patio and it was beautiful ambiance, especially on a beautiful day!
