A unique experience to dine in or take out, for dinner or brunch on the weekend. Delicious food in homemade style with a twist by chef Yolla, located in midtown Toronto.
We take a pride in all our dishes, each represents a city from Syria.

This is one of the best Arabic restaurants in the city. Everything is amazing but both the chicken and veggie fateh’s stand out. Marcel is also one of the most committed restaurant owners in the city. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I liked that it is reachable by TTC, 7 minute leisurely walk from Eglinton station. They have both outside and inside seating. We opted for inside as it was hoo hot outside on that day. The number of tables is limited, so making reservations is recommended, as they seem pretty busy almost all week (they are closed on Monday). The service is attentive to your needs and very friendly. It makes you feel relaxed at home. Our server was Diala and she was amazing. Food options are many and the staff can guide you well if you are not familiar with Syrian food. They will not try to gauge you. We ordered Mezze appetizers to share. All were authentic Syrian home-made taste and very yummy except perhaps the Muhamara, which seemed to be short on walnuts. I discovered later that they were trying to be a nut-free restaurant. Even simpler fares like falafels are very delicious. Most main dishes ordered had generous portions, which allowed us to sample almost across the entire menu. Two things absolutely not to miss after the main course(s): the kunafeh-Volcano dessert is outstanding and not too sweet, and their special black tea flavoured with cardamon and cinnamon. It comes sweetened with sugar but definitely worth it. I couldn't get enough of it. Highly recommended place.

It's a cute neighbourhood drop-in restaurant. Lovely service. Portions were small. Not enough salad options for my taste.

A few girlfriends and I were excited to meet up for a delicious meal and some catching up and had had a really positive experience dining here a few years ago, when they had newly opened. We assumed it could have only improved and were looking forward to a great experience. I would like to remain optimistic and hope we just caught an off night but the whole experience left a lot to be desired. I rarely write reviews and don’t want to be a Karen but had such high hopes all around. The food was passable with a few dishes that stood out: mainly the cheese boreks and fatteh. However, even passable food can be enjoyed when the service is elevated. The restaurant heavily focuses on a home cooked meal and warm hospitality but we really were made to feel like more of an inconvenience. After arriving first, no approach was made with menus or a drink offered as I waited for quite a while for the rest of my party. Questions about menu item seemed to be a bit of a nuisance. There seemed to be a lack of communication amongst the staff themselves and when an incorrect dish was brought to the table (no biggie) by someone other than our original server who looked angry when we let her know. We had to ask for water refills, napkins etc and it genuinely felt like all the staff was doing us a favour at each turn. Things changed slightly at the end when our original server brought us our bill and flashed her first smile and blessed us with some small talk. Honestly, just disappointing since we live in the neighborhood and would have loved to make this more of a regular spot.

This place is pretty great -- have come back four times now and it doesn't disappoint. This time, the highlights were: The chicken in the chicken shawarma platter was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The mezze plates and the grape vines are reliable apps. The variety of drinks is also fantastic and they have some local Toronto breweries in their beer selection.

Very interesting and, for me, unique flavor combinations. The apricot/orange blossom mocktail was a revelation! (I.e. delicious)
