For 20years, Chef Victor Wang and Owner Chiara Covelli have reigned over their highly acclaimed restaurant… Zen Forrest… known for its Chinese, Korean, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Singapore. Award winning lunches and Dinner. Private events, cooking classes. Zen Forrest was known for amazing food, sake, wine and imported and local beers.
When the lease came up at Zen Forrest and they couldn't stay Chiara thought it might be the end of Zen Forrest in New Port Richey. As good things do happen, with the assistance of the new partner, Jay Patel, he found the perfect location on Grand Boulevard in downtown New Port Richey. It is a larger restaurant accommodating over 150 guests, with a Sushi Bar and a sociable, full liquor cocktail bar.

Chef Victor and partners are pleased to share their excitement with loyal Zen Forrest customers and friends and they look forward to hosting you to a new ZEN Kitchen & Bar experience.

    Overall a great experience. The service was fantastic, food came out fast, hot, and fresh. Portions were great- not overwhelming. We will definitely be going back.

    Butter chicken is okay the flavors outstanding but the restaurant uses the Food Service chicken which comes in a plastic packaging Frozen so the chicken didn't have a unique flavor restaurant's quality chicken is tender but the flavor recognized right away. My mom, very disappointed on the noise level and said " they won't be seeing me any time soon" disappointed that they put us in the bar room when the other room was used only when the bar section was full and I made reservations we felt shafted.

    Great date spot ,fancy chinese food basically with some dishes from other countries, Food was good drinks where really good server was nice and attentive , portions could be a Lil better , my mash potatoes where cold but they where really good. The orange chicken was very good not what I expected but chicken was juicy not oily at all. Almost was like air fried? The place looks new and beautiful nice tables, fancy ambience, I'm from up north like most people around this area. My only suggestion would be to get some scorpion bowls, mai tais, on the drink menu they will kill. Nostalgic for new England new Yorkers. I will be back though!

    Our first time and food was exceptional. Service was very good and our server made great suggestions - everything was excellent. Thumbs up for the mocktail too!
