ZEKKI Restaurant is a pop-up, moving to different locations for each event. Full event details are on our profile, with each event offering a unique experience.

Tim Zekki, born in Cyprus and based in the UK for 35 years, is passionate about local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, often foraging in Somerset woodlands and along the coast.

His menus reflect his global travels and love for food. ‘My passion,’ he says, ‘is to combine simple ingredients – with some elaborate sauces – aiming to delight the palate.’ In addition to à la carte sharing dishes, he offers a fixed-price multi-course menu once a month.

Local produce includes lamb and beef from Wonky Horn near Wiveliscombe, sourced from Thorne’s Butchers, with vegetables and salad from Wagtail Farm and Ray’s Veg at Halse.

The White Hart Hotel 1 West Street, Wiveliscombe, Taunton, TA4 2JP For this limited-time event, we’ll be serving our A La Carte menu, available throughout the week (check out the full menu on our OpenTable profile). The food, as always was stunning and the service was perfect. The only thing that lets it down is the room temperature. It’s a cold building and although we were sat next to a heater no heat could be felt. After and hour or so we really began to feel the cold.

This was an excellent all round pre Christmas Saturday night meal out. Great food with Lebanese and Spanish influences and an intimate and cosy ambience. Having only just discovered Zekki’s we were disappointed to hear it is intending to close at the end of December. Please come back in the Spring and open up again!

Great food fab service definitely coming back. The food option for vegan and vegetarian was excellent. The flat breads you can die for.

Outstanding food, wonderful flavours, excellent service. Really hope they find a new venue after 28 December. It’ll be a great loss otherwise.

Excellent as usual. Attentive staff. Food delicious great fusion of flavours and texture. Pudding limited but lovely end to the meal.
