We were sat at 5pm on a Sunday (not a lot of other tables, so it wasn't busy at all) server didn't come by and we went looking for her at 5:15pm. She finally came with water and bread and took our orders (2 apps and 4 entreees) at 5:45pm we still did not have appetizers but brought our food out. I told them that we never got the appetizers, and so they took our food back (not my intention). At 5:54 I sent my husband to find our food as we had to leave the restaurant by 6:10 to get to a show at the Allstate Arena. They brought our food (cold) and still no appetizers. My husband ordered fish (not good cold!) and the others were pasta. When we finally were ready to leave, the appetizers showed up. They said they would take them off the bill and wrap them up. No apologies for bad/slow service. The sangria had no fruit in it as well. Not sure if they were short staffed in the kitchen or what but no one explained the delay or the lack of service (no one came to check on us at all, we always had to hunt them down). I would definitely not go back. Seemed like it would be a nice place, but turns out it only looked nice. Terrible experience.

Everything was great except that the patio is above a very busy street plus close to the train station, the noise from the traffic and trains was over bearing at times.

We had dinner with some old friends and sat out on the terrace. It is very comfortable and beautiful. The food was great and our server Salvatore was just the best! He was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great suggestions. He was funny and just so cute :)

Overall the food was pretty good. I got the filet and wedge salad for an entree. We shared the meatballs and polenta to start. Service was decent as well other than 1 delay at the beginning. I don’t understand the negative reviews. If you’re looking for family friendly, good food, nice ambiance, beautiful outdoor seating then come try this place out!

Unfortunately, this was a horrible Mother’s Day experience. My husband and I were seated, waited more than five minutes for the server to come and greet us. When he did we asked for a menus since we were not seated with any and he told us that it was buffet style only. I informed him that I am currently pregnant and wasn’t comfortable with it and asked if there were any options to order off of the regular menu since this was not advertised on OpenTable when we made our reservation. He said no. My husband ordered a drink and when he returned we told him we would need a minute to think about what we’d like to do. He never returned so my husband and I walked up to the bar, informed the bartender, paid for the drink and left.

Food was cold on the buffet. Never got assigned server to our table. Had a mandatory 20% tip on the bill for service that never showed up. Ruined Mother’s Day dinner.

Excellent experience for Mother’s Day! First time, will absolutely be coming back! Already discussed with the family and we plan to schedule our yearly Mother’s Day brunch there for sure!!!
