Got the wrong dish after waiting 20 plus minutes after having the full order 30 minutes earlier. I assume a kitchen issue, but we did not have time to wait for the correct eggplant dish to arrive

Lovely food and an energetic, modern ambiance. You can still hold conversations though which is great. The only thing I dislike intensely that when you arrive and your party isn’t complete you will not be seated. And the male host was not very nice when checking in.

Breakfast is not their strong point. Staff was slow, and forgot to bring my entire order that only consisted in eggs and juice, so I just got eggs. Food wasn’t tasty, staff was talking really loudly about personal issues and wasn’t paying attention to the service. I don’t know if it was a bad day for me to pick this restaurant. but I didn’t like this place.

The venue was very nice. Even though the small plates are meant to be shared, they are very small portions. The martini glasses are the smallest I have ever seen. I think this restaurant needs some reworking with their menu. The service was slow and two of our guests at the end of the table kept wanting for clean dishes and their food. I support everything that Jose does I think this restaurant is not his best venture. I do not think we will return there.

We are big Jose Andres Fans. We’ve gone to so many of his restaurants and had loved our experience at zaytinia DC. Out of excitement we went out of our way to come to the Ny location and were very disappointed. The Brussels sprouts were not as crunchy and a bit undercooked compared to the DC location. The Adana kebab was too thick, bland and did not taste good. It came out cold. The bread was never refilled. This experience was widely different from our experience at the DC location. The server was very inattentive. One of our drinks had dust floating in our cups and it took us asking 3 times to 2 different people over 15 minutes to even get a cup of clean water. It was just all very disappointing and not up to the Jose Andre’s restaurant standards to be honest.

Delicious! Every dish was carefully prepared and we loved each one! The whole sea bass was a highlight - so tender.

Mezze’s were good, family style lamb shoulder was barely edible, meat was extremely tough, couldn’t eat most of it. I’ve been to the DC location multiple times and expected a similar quality of meal. Highly disappointed.
