Zaytina is currently my favorite restuarant in NYC. Food is superb, and the enviroment is glamorous. Our server was Ricardo, and he was great making suggestions for us.

It was ok but nothing special and very noisy. Service seemed tired but did their best.

I have eaten at Zaytina in DC and it was an incredible experience so I was excited to try the NYC locaton. The NYC restaurant was a totally different experience. Our waiter did not make an effort to explain the menu or make suggestions. We asked about ordering the family style crispy rice for the table and how many additional dishes we would need. He recommended several dishes, including a flatbread that, when I asked, he said was small and "two pieces". After I ordered four side dishes including the flatbread I asked if that was enough and he told me to order one more. Our table of four ended up having twice the amount of food we neeede which was sad and wasteful and made us feel awful. The food was inconsistent, with the calamari and hummus being excellent, and the $80 rice being dry and flavorless. The meatballs and eggplant arrived tepid. It was my sister's birthday and I made mention of this in the reservation and to the hostess. At the end of the dinner the waiter brought our check and said to my sister, "By the way, happy birthday. It's your birthday right?" We were all disappointed. After this experience Zaytina went from being on of my favorite restaurants to try delicious, unique dishes and flavors to a place I would probably not risk again.

I have been a big fan of Zatinya DC for years visiting my son at college and never missing an opportunity to dine there. First time in Zarinya Nomad and happy to say they haven’t missed a beat in the new location. Same great menu and drinks. Nice indoor atmosphere although the outdoor dining in DC was better. I love this restaurant! Always a great experience. Glad to see it in nyc!!
