The entire staff was rude and awkward, making unnecessary and giving inappropriate comments, puffing and smirking at our questions (such as if they serve hot tea, if they have batata harra, or if there is only wine available for drinks). I could expand. Sincerely not recommended. Food is ok, but nothing wow. If you are aquaitanced to the middle eastern food and serving, this was a joke. Regular size meal is more like an entree and bite-size quantity, which definitely does not justify the price.

Lamb leg family style was dry, by far the worst dish and most expensive. Definitely not worth 105$. Service wasn’t great- not terrible but very slow and hard to get anyone’s attention, waiter seemed frustrated at times. There were some stand out dishes like the fried eggplant and steak though and it wasn’t an awful meal, just way too expensive for the quality of food and service!

Food and service was very good-enjoyed the small plates, especially the lentil dish beet salad. Very flavorful. Small plates were delivered in a well paced manner. We were seated promptly with a reservation for 2 during busy holiday season. Staff were attentive but very difficult to hear as the music was so loud-to the point where it was distracting from the experience. Part way through the dinner, cold air began to blow on us. It was freezing outside and last thing we wanted was to be cold! Fortunately the staff were able to adjust the temperature a bit. Was convenient to our hotel but given all the options in the city would likely find a different spot for dinner on a return trip.

Chef Jose Andreas is an amazing person. That is the main reason we came. But the food is very over priced. We paid $450 & my family was still hungry. Very small portions You should learn from Rumi’s Kitchen in Atlanta and DC how quality can also satisfy a family. Will not come back again.

Delicious food and service. Octopus dish was cold but still tasty. Wait staff were terrific - as were hostesses

Inside Ritz Calton Hotel. One negative point is that the restaurant only has 1 toilet shared by both man/woman. Judging from the size of the restaurant, I'd think they should have more than 1 toilet.

Food was exceptional and service flawless!!! David was our server and was very attentive but not overbearing and was also very knowledgeable about the food and its ingredients. A spot not to miss while in NYC!
