Great place for a business lunch, but also nice atmosphere for any occasion. Excellent food and service!

Traveling to Türkiye each year, we are familiar with the authentic flavors of the Turkish/Greek cuisine. The food at Zaytinya has too much of a sweet taste in dishes that should not be sweet. Very loud acoustics. Difficult to carry on a conversation across the table without shouting. Service was fair, minimal execution. Disappointed in overall experience.

The ambiance was lovely, and the service was some of the best in NYC! Our waitress was helpful and made great suggestions. We had a mixed group with limited experience in Mediterranean food but even ones with VERY simple tastes found things they enjoyed. The shrimp was bathed in a delightful sauce, the grilled octopus was tender without being mushy, and sides of Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms. Our picky eater had the chicken youvets and said it was perfect. Also, the black cod was lovely and beautifully plated. Noise was fine to start, but a large group sat next to us and the level went up. We will be back!!

Food was great, albeit portions rather small for price. Service was disappointing for a restaurant of this supposed calibre- having to ask twice for items for the table, for example. Overall positive experience but wouldn’t rush back.

Second time at Zaytina…both times had the same excellent server…wish I remembered his name. Overall had a very nice dinner with a party of 8. Love the pretty atmosphere… was very busy/lively (it was a Saturday night) but not so loud we couldn’t talk which was good. Loved everything we ordered - the brussel sprouts, beef, chicken and lamb kabobs, humus, tzatziki and celebration rice. Some in the group said the drinks were a little too strong for them. Otherwise no complaints and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Will definitely be back again!

We went for lunch yesterday and enjoyed everything as much as we usually do. The menu is terrific, we had a large group and basically ordered one of everything! The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the environment is lovely. We go again and again to Zaytinya in NYC and DC. Highly recommend!
