Food was good, but service is absolutely terrible. Before ordering our entrees I asked if they would only bring them if we were finished our appetizer, waitress agreed. The wait staff started to take our plates when we weren’t finished so I reminded the waitress that we had asked specifically not to be rushed and that not to take plates away when food was still remaining. She asked if we might be done in 5-10 minutes and I agreed, so she said no problem! We were content, until not even two minutes later wait staff again tried to take our unfinished app plates away!!!! i asked the waitress what was going on as we had just had a conversation about waiting 5-10 minutes and it had barely been two and she said " well the food is ready". My husband sent the food away and asked for a manager. The waitress apologized and offered me a wine on the house. My daughter ordered from the kids menu and the pasta came out with sauce instead of plain butter which just added fuel to the flame. The sommelier went to the table next to us to offer the glass of wine instead of ours. The manager never came to talk to us, and they charged us for the deng wine. It is really too bad the service is so absolutely terrible, because our food was tasty.

I don’t write negative reviews, but this time I felt like I should. The chef tried to replicate some Mediterranean recipes and failed miserably. Now I understand that high end restaurants favor quality over quantity and that food portions tend to be smaller but supposed to taste better and more authentic. This wasn’t the case here. I left hungrier than when I entered the restaurant. Portions were extremely small and don’t taste good to make up for the size. Overall I feel that this restaurant was a rip off and very overrated.

Very tasty food, nicely presented. Wait service attentive and warm. Noise level became so loud we left to sit in the lobby just so we could talk without yelling across the booth.

very loud, seating close the middle of the restaurant. delicious food, and attentive wait staff & bartenders. all in our party were very happy with our meals

Have been to the DC location and wanted to try it when in NYC. Excellent meal once again. Sat outside in a beautiful patio. Greek wine was excellent. Mushroom dish not to be missed. Will come again !

My second time to the restaurant in six weeks. Much different experience. Bread served cold while it was piping hot the first time. Mezze style dinner so first-time food came out in small plates and would come out continuously. We enjoyed and it was served at the correct temperature. This time, most of the small plates (except for a couple of plates initially) came out altogether. It sat and was cold by the time we go to the different dishes. The service this time was nonchalant manner. Much different than the first visit. It was disappointing.

I expected more from this restaurant and waited a long time to try it, but was extremely disappointed by our experience. Outdoor seating sucked, didn't feel like I was at a high end restaurant at all - there was loud music and it was tight & hectic. All of our food was cold when it arrived. The menu on their website was starkly different from the one we were given. They didn't even have french fries on the new menu, which were on the website menu. Our waiter said he would request the fries even though they were just taken off the menu, but said that the chef refused to make fries. Our waiter offered us brussel sprouts instead as a compensation for the miscommunication, which is the only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars instead of 1. The salmon was bland and tasteless. The lamb baharat was overcooked. The seared halloumi was uninteresting and bland. The chicken shish taouk was good, but not enough. Overall, all of the portions were too small (I understand it's tapas style, but there was barely enough of anything to go around the table). We left the meal hungry and unsatisfied. Unfortunate to say that I don't plan on coming back here.
