Food was amazing, our table server was great, however the front desk check in girls carried the biggest RBF and we’re very snobby

The noise level is unbearable, especially for those prone to headaches. Very loud, rhythmic music in the background makes conversation impossible.

Zatinya is one of our top go to restaurants in DC. The place never disapoints. I brought 4 people that have never been and they nothing but great things to say. Each dish is thoughtuflly prepared and beatifually presented, The array of flavors are plentiful. The best part, Zatinya is a great example that great food does not have to break the bank and is a great value.

Food is amazing, as always. Very lively on a Sat night. Loved the ambiance. Jose Andres never disappoints! Had some great cocktails and delicious main courses. We were pleasantly surprised by the complexity and caliber of the desserts. We will be back soon!

Service was awful. I was looking forward to having a casual, relaxed meal with my partner. We had some questions about the wine and food and the answers we received were very succinct as the waiters/waitresses seemed annoyed to have to answer them. They clearly were not interested in talking; they seemed hurried and rushed the whole night and that vibe was reflected in our experience. We ordered a multi-course meal and courses arrived before we were finished with the current course. We even had our food taken from us as we were still eating. We were also seated right next to another couple, maybe a foot apart, much too close to have a private dining experience with my partner. Just an overall disappointing experience.

We made the mistake of ordering the chef's tasting menu. The vegetables were very good; however the proteins were just so-so. The issue is that there is so much food that you cannot possibly enjoy the numerous small plates. I skipped the 3rd course in its entirety & asked for dessert not to be served at all. I would much prefer to have smaller quantities of higher quality food. The entire experience was underwhelming and overpriced for the quality (not the quantity). The restaurant feels like a tourist trap.

Great food in Penn Quarter. Attentive service. The Branzino was my favorite. Also the brussels sprouts.
