    We had the chicken boa, crispy sesame chicken, and chicken wraps. All excellent! Our server was attentive and delightful!

    The food and the overall service was good. My friend ordered the sashimi pieces, not realizing that it was an order of two instead of one. The waiter said nothing knowing that it was way too much sushi for the table. it ended up being $600 and there was seven people in our party. The bathrooms were dirty and our food took a long time to come out. I hate posting bad reviews but thought it was necessary.

    The food was great, but the restaurant sat us in the bar portion and it was loud. They were also short-staffed and the bartender was literally running from table to table waiting on them, while trying to make all of the drinks on a busy night. The service was rough.

    We've been to Zao Jun often, and will return, but our recent experience at 7:00 on a Saturday night left a lot to be desired. We were seated promptly, but after at least 15 minutes we had to ask the host for a server. One finally came, harried, and explained this wasn't usually their section, but they appeared to be short handed and they would get us water and come back for our order. Another good amount of time passed before they returned with water and to take our order. Appetizer came out promptly and was delicious (cheeseburger eggroll!) Entrees came out and mine was wrong - I ordered pad thai with chicken and they brought it to me with shrimp. It was a different server that brought this out and they were about to tell me I was wrong, but they looked at the ticket in their hand and saw that it was the kitchen that was wrong. It was sent back and my partner was nearly done with their meal before my correct order arrived. The food was delicious, but the service was off that night. To their credit, the appetizer was comped. Again, we will be back and we'll hope they're better staffed.

    This was my fourth time and unfortunately worst experience at Zao Jun. We had reservations and were seated within a few minutes. Our waiter was great and responsive. The appetizer took at least 20 minutes to come out and at least that long for our entrees. One entree was incorrect and took another 20 minutes to send out a new one. The rest of us were done eating at this point. The waiter was apologetic and took it off the bill but still didn’t make for a nice dining experience.
