    They were five in our group for dinner that evening. We all ordered something different. 4 pasta dishes, and one pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the smoked chicken ravioli with a corn sauce. Was initially worried about the corn sauce and the chicken being too smoky, but it was actually perfect Layers of flavor, wonderful atmosphere there and the owners are always there and very accommodating and friendly.

    Z Cucina di Spirito continues to impress us, even though we have now been there many times. We live out of town, but when we drop off our daughter or visit her at Ohio State, we always consider it a treat to have dinner at Z. Everything from the moment we are greeted by the very friendly and accommodating hostess, to the friendly and experienced servers and to the wonderful flavors of the food itself makes this one of our very favorite places anywhere. No one in my family has ever been disappointed with a meal there. The flavors are excellent and the portions are just right. Even the bread with the sun-dried tomato dipping sauce is wonderful. While it's sometimes hard to save room for dessert, we find it impossible to pass up the chocolate espresso gelato and the chocolate mousse, both of which are different than we have had anywhere else. The chocolate gelato is really the best we have ever had, and the mousse is more dense and chocolatey than usual. Both are made on premises. All of this combined with a beautiful atmosphere (we almost always dine outside) and the exceptionally friendly and accommodating servers make Z Cucina di Spirito Grandview a place we just cannot pass up whenever we visit Columbus.
