Yuta was the name the Ute Indians called the area and themselves, meaning "mountain top" or "people who live high is the mountains." Legend has it, when Spanish explorers arrived and asked the natives what this area was called, they were told "YUTA." Its mountains have seen many cultures pass through or inhabit, starting with the Uto-Aztecan Native Americans; then, the Utes. As US western expansion continued, more cultures moved through the area – from as far away as Eastern Europe and China. Drawing on all of these cultures, we are defining a regional cuisine true to Utah, featuring a wood-burning hearth, and with Lynsey Gammon, our Blue Sky farmer who uses the ultimate in organic farming practices.

Yuma was amazing. Thoughtfully designed in the most stunning setting. Service was top notch, food was outstanding. It was expensive but expected at a fine resort. We’ll be back.

Gracies tomato and burrata! I could have 10 of these just as my dinner! The flavors♥️♥️ had salmon and my husband had the trout.. both were outstanding and cooked perfectly! Dessert was an 8 layer mango cake- again… perfect! It was gorgeous my husbands birthday 🎉… everyone went above and beyond from the valet to everyone working at the restaurant. Been here several times and they never disappoint ♥️♥️

It’s got teething issues. We drove around looking for the restaurant because there’s no clear signage along the way and the Gaurd at the entrance didn’t give us directions. The food was spotty.The service was great. However the ingredients are incorrectly listed and inconsistent with what is described and what showed up on the plate. Our Kosher friends got pork , the chicken breast chilaquiles (43$!) arrived sans chicken. The breakfast burrito was missing listed ingredients. They did try and make up with service

Was a delightful experience overall but very overpriced! Wine was a bust. Whiskey sour was awful for a 28 $ item !

Always enjoy Yuta. The food is great. Interesting but not silly. Some of the best most attentive service anywhere.

Dining was a pleasure. Food was an excellent expression of the natural flavors, not overwhelmed with sauces and seasonings. Service was excellent, environment was beautiful!

Yuta is in the outskirts of Park City in a hotel-spa that is simply gorgeous. This is one of their restaurants. It is talked about often and it earns its accolades! A comfortable restaurant and ambiance, with elevated food and drinks. Every dish exudes freshness from the beautiful land around you and from far exotic places. The meats and fish dishes are superb as you recover from small bite appetizers that will have you asking for more. Drinks are sophisticated and sommelier knows his stuff - test him, you will be impressed and glad. For a nice romantic dinner or a gathering of friends and family it’s a marvelous place. Reserve around sundown and experience the gorgeousness of Utah!

First, the people who greet, cook, and serve at Yuta were friendly and hospitable. Rand was our server, and he also happens to be an excellent sommelier. He treated our table as if we were the only people in the restaurant. He gave us tasty and unexpected wine recommendations that paired well with our food. Every morsel we tasted at Yuta was amazing. The Hawaiian rolls were supple and salty/sweet. The tuna hand rolls had the perfect crunch on the outside with the beautiful Japanese mint leaf, and balanced flavor inside. Marinated tuna crudo with whole grape tomatoes was the perfect little bite, and the tagliatelle was rich and dreamy. Once we finished the shareables, we had salads or entrees. The little gem salad was surprisingly filling, and the chocolate/Mac nut crunch bar didn’t disappoint. Yuta is a hidden gem in a setting dedicated to preserving and honoring the majesty of the hillside, and it is worthy of the land on which it resides.
