We loved our waiter. For those who know less about this cuisine, you will be pleased with the experience of the staff. Our waiter - who has been there 4 years - helped us maximize the experience. We sat outside. We found the music inside a little loud for conversation. I’m sure they would lower the volume if asked. We liked the interior. It’s surprising to find a sushi restaurant of this quality outside of Washington DC. For our particular meal, here are a couple of notes: Let the waiter recommend the sake. The price was a bit more than I normally pay but the sake was much better than I normally get. It’s worth it. The Nigiri selections in the back of the menu look pricey at first glance. You only get one piece for that price, but Wow. Savor that piece and it will transport you straight across the Pacific to Japan. I went with a simple, lower priced piece of Japanese whitefish. I will be back for more.

We’ve been coming here for almost 5 years for special occasions. This visit was to celebrate the graduation of our son Wyatt. The food and serve was excellent as always- can’t wait to visit again!

Best Sushi south of Manhattan! Amazing service and ambience as well. Staff has great recommendations and we’ve never been dissatisfied or disappointed with anything we’ve ever tried.

Excellent sushi. Interesting rolls, interesting specials, great presentation. Also, good drinks and friendly staff. We've celebrated multiple birthdays here as a family and everyone walks away happy. We've also been to their Georgetown location. G-town location is a fancier (recommend sitting at one of the tables near the bar), but the food at both is excellent. Highly recommend.

OVERPRICED and SMALL PORTIONS. We paid $400 with tip for 3 people and we still had to go somewhere else afterwards to eat. Moreover, SERVICE WAS POOR. We continously had to wave at our waiter to get service. GEEZ. We will not return! DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great food, but a little pricey. Their 4-person dining tables inside are also incredibly tiny and inconvenient. We asked to be moved to a bigger table after being seated, then saw another 4-person group knock over a glass on their table since their dishes were so crowded. I hope the management takes note.

Food and serve are always exceptional. Cathy our server is amazing, we loved her. The taste and freshness of everything is beyond above quality! Highly recommend, a hidden neighborhood gem!!!

Great food. Very accommodating service team. Helpful bartender Max. Highly recommend if you can tolerate high level noise. Outside sitting is a great alternative if weather permits
