D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : L'établissement intime du chef Daisuke Izutsu, situé à Mount Pleasant, n'accueille que 20 personnes par soir. C'est dans le sanctuaire feutré des sushis que l'on vient observer le chef préparer un menu kaiseki avec une grande précision. Intimate, elegant, innovative, skillful, tasty. We celebrated a birthday and 25th wedding anniversary there. The chef adjusted the dishes to accomodate the allergies and food preferences of one of our group. Opentable described the seating as countertop but it is probably better described as chef’s table, as we were seated right in front of the chef as he was preparing the food. The display was impressive and was a significant part of the experience. The food was exquisitely presented with a myriad of colours, textures and flavours. The chef and staff were very welcoming, attentive and respectful. We enjoyed the 9 course tasting menu, together with the matched sake pairing.

We had an exceptional evening at Yukashi. Chef was very entertaining and answered all of our questions about the ingredients and Japanese cuisine. Everything was creatively presented and flavourful. We enjoyed the sake pairings and trying the chef’s own sake creations. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a wonderful ambiance. It was fun and elegant.

If you want to awaken your mouth to delicious tastes that you’ve never experienced before… then this Michelin Star restaurant should definitely be on your bucket list. Wonderful food that is prepared & presented with the utmost artistry. And absolutely unique sakes to pair seamlessly with the food. Owner / chef is delightful. Serving staff attended to everything we needed and some needs we didn’t know we had. We will definitely be back. Loved the full experience.
