Owned and operated by second generation renowned restaurateur, Dominick Purnomo, the intimate, elegant split level dining room is has recently gone through a renovation modernizing the dining room now elegantly appointed with neutral colors, bronzed mirrors, a large fireplace, crystal chandelier, and floral displays. An innovative menu of blending French Technique, Asian Influence & American Ingredients pays homage to the rich culinary history of founding Chef Yono Purnomo. Overall, the bill was excellent. The ambience was incredible. The service was well developed and executed outstandingly. The only problem was it was Valentine’s Day and they did not have enough staff. We ended up waiting a half an hour for food and it was so unacceptable. I was gonna get dessert, but then I was just like it’s time to go and they asked me if I wanted to go, but I was just ready to be gone from that place but overall I had a wonderful time. I just wish the wait staff had more staff on being that it was Valentine’s Day.

Diners have two options: Prix fixe or the tasting menu. The prix fixe was more than enough for us, and the options excellent. I would come back here for a special occasion!

Food was amazing, servers were very knowledgeable and professional. We went on New Year’s Eve so menu was pre fixe with some additional costs added based on food choices Overall great experience, definitely recommended and would go back

Yono's was an absolute treat! We brought my family for a holiday gathering and were seated right in front of a roaring fire. Kiara and the whole team were wonderfully attentive and very accommodating. They handled dietary limitations and one diner's hearing challenges incredibly smoothly. The meal was hands down the best I've had in Albany. Our group especially enjoyed the Indonesian dishes. Their seasonal apple Pavlova was divine - I would gladly eat its apple chutney all the time! We can't wait to return to Yono's and try more dishes!

We went here for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and chose the Grand tasting menu. The food was amazing we were very happy with our meal!!

Yono’s is a fantastic restaurant for fine dining and great wine pairing. This evening was a business dinner. I have also enjoyed romantic dinners there with my wife and had wonderful evenings there with family and friends. The food is consistently good. The service is welcoming and accommodating.
