Owned and operated by second generation renowned restaurateur, Dominick Purnomo, the intimate, elegant split level dining room is has recently gone through a renovation modernizing the dining room now elegantly appointed with neutral colors, bronzed mirrors, a large fireplace, crystal chandelier, and floral displays. Jon Culbert grew up in a small town in upstate New York and began his professional cooking career at 21 years old at Yono’s. He moved to New York City in 2017 and has held leadership roles with Starr Restaurant Group, HAND Hospitality and currently with Union Square Hospitality Group as Chef de Cuisine of Manhatta. As a chef, he has focused on bringing techniques from various European backgrounds to elevate the food and bring excitement to emerging cuisines. Join us for his one night return, 5 course tasting menu: Scallop Crudo, Pineapple, Celery and Coriander Berry Tempura fried soft-shell crab with bee pollen and Szechuan Black Bass, Bone Marrow and Caviar Iberico Pork with pepper and clam Black Forest

We had a fabulous dinner - everything was wonderful. The food was delicious! We had some of their specialties which was a great blend of interesting tastes. The portions were very satisfying. Our server was fabulous! The perfect blend of checking in on us but not bugging us. There was a great attention to detail in everything they did. And, the room was beautiful and elegant, adding to the whole ambiance. Looking forward to going back!

The food was good but no food or service is worth that much. With all the servers running around trying to impress us, it took three tries to get a drink refill.

We celebrated a birthday. The evening was fantastic. Josh and his team went out of their way to make it more than a special evening. The food and service was top notch. For those who have never dined at Yono this is the norm.
