Yolo Restaurant and Lounge was born out of an idea to create a place where people could enjoy 5-Star meals in a relaxing, welcoming environment. Ricardo, a decorated businessman, had visions of opening an elite restaurant with an ambiance Washington, D.C. had never seen before. The mixture of a dynamic ambiance, unmatched vibe, impeccable food and hookah came to life with Victory Restaurant & Lounge. The concept originated in Miami, with the first Victory Restaurant & Lounge and the same excitement is being brought to D.C!

They had maybe 2 things top available on the menu. We left.. it was almost empty but the music was extremely loud you couldn’t even hear who you sitting beside. The server was attentive she came to us quick and explained everything but once she told us what wasn’t available which was majority of the menu we left so we didn’t eat anything

We got to the restaurant (which allowed us to book a reservation and continued to allow reservations through the day) and it was closed. There was nothing on the instagram, website, or OpenTable to suggest it would be closed. I loved this restaurant but since its rebrand, I’ve been disappointed

They weren't even open.. but we were able to make reservations and they hours stated they should've been ooen.

The aesthetics were great and DJ did amazing. Good was horrible. Service was very slow, even though we were 1 of two groups there. I will not be back for dinner.

I would not recommend. I came there and stated I had a reservation and they looked at me like I was speaking another language. They also didn’t have any of the food items we wanted to order or the 3 different wines we tried to request. Don’t even waste your time here.

The website says reservations are a must as if the place is that busy. I had a reservation for 2 at 4pm. We arrived on time and there was not a soul there. The waitress seated us and informed us that brunch was still being served. The brunch/dinner times are not clear on the website. We viewed the brunch menu and asked about the cornbread. We were told they didn’t have it. We asked about the deserts. We were told they don’t have deserts. In our last attempt, we asked about the oxtails and grits. We were told the chef doesn’t know how to make the oxtails. At that point we decided to leave. So much for trying to support black owned businesses. Total wast of time.

I had amazing experience The atmosphere is very nice! Their food was so good I had lamb chops and it was so best! The customer service was so amazing I will definitely be back here to celebrate my birthday

For someone who does not like grits, please do not go. Brunch music is too loud for a small room like that. Turn down the music so we can hear each other. Hookah price is to high.

We sat down to music that was way too loud. This is not a place where you can have a nice conversation. The waitress has to talk loudly to you. We had reservations and they came to us in 10 minutes to say the kitchen was closed. I didn't get to experience food and I was glad to leave and keep my eardrums.
