We have a passion for delicious bites and even better wine. Founded by Ioannis Choutris in 2011, we developed a niche for procuring hard-to-find labels and vintages from around the world. Over time, our drive towards excellence allowed us to grow into a full-service kitchen. We specialize in high-quality cuts from the land and sea, while also maintaining our commitment to finding that perfect wine for any occasion. Featuring chef-crafted specials, unique flavors, and beautiful wines to pair, our staff is sure to impress during your next visit!

Yiannis failed on many levels....The rolls they give you are covered with (like a bagel topping) with everything on it. if you want a dinner roll that tastes like an everything bagel....you'll love it! but for a date night I don't need the onion breath..... The service was incredibly slow and only one other table with two people at it. The waiter failed to tell us about the specials! but clearly another waiter was telling a new seated group all the specials on the menu. They had to chill a bottle of champagne because they don't have them pre chilled.... so you're a wine store and you offer a few sparkling on the menu but yet you don't have them properly chilled? .... (yes he used a quick chiller but it was still not cold enough) shall I go on? The steaks were somewhat dry but cooked correctly. The lamb chops did not describe the crust in detail that was not very good. I hope they sell lots of wine, I don't know how they stay in business.....Now I know why they don't advertise their restaurant ...stick to the wine store!

enjoyed my meal at Yiannis wine and food. it is a restaurant and a wine store in one. good wine prices on the bottle and a huge selection by the glass in different volume sizes which you can dispense yourself. I had the lamb chops with the risotto and ratatouille. chops were done properly. sides motivated me to clean the plate. I will say, I was not aware that they didn't keep their whites chilled and had to wait almost 30 minutes for them to chill a warm one from the store shelf. the service on the food was quite slow also. menu is pretty limited and "there were no specials this evening because the owner is busy opening up a pizza store next door that he just bought."

Must have been an off night. Out of 2 of 3 wines we ordered. Out of almost 75% of the entrees. Lousy service. No decaf. No toppings for cheesecake. Must be ready to close permanently. The icing was the 6% service charge on using a credit card. Not disclosed on menu. Seriously? We will never go back.

Amazing first time at Yiannis! We will for sure go back and take friends. Food was awesome - oysters, shrimp and Halibut... the sommelier picked out a great bottle of wine. I cannot believe we've lived in VA Beach for 20+ yrs and didn't know about this place!

We have been ordering wine from Yiannis for years. So when we had a chance to book a vacation at Virginia Beach, we knew where our first reservation would be and it did not disappoint. We went on a Tuesday so was nice and relaxed. Had the meatballs and fresh oysters to start both of which were excellent and we split the whole fish done oriental style. Chris the sommelier was super helpful and instead of getting a bottle we took advantage of the tasting cards and tried at least 8-10 wines. Where else can you have a glass of Caymus followed by a 2016 Bordeaux followed by an outstanding Moldovan wine?? Highly recommended for wine lovers and foodies!! Chris also gave us a sneak peak at the upcoming pizzeria to open soon. And dessert?? We got the Carrot Cake and key lime pie to go both of which were fantastic!!

this is a hidden gem in VAB. We went there on a recommendation of our neighbor. So glad we did. This place is truly a winery with a restaurant in it. It you like great food and amazing choices of wine with smiling, professional yet friendly service, this is your place. The owner Yainni introduced himself to us and showed us the great wine selection that he has. Both my wife and I highly recommend this place and will be back. Thank you guys.
